How do I add anchors to my Wix site?
An anchor is a position marker which allows you to link to a specific location on any of the pages of your site. Click here for a demo!
To add an anchor: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Buttons & Menus > click Anchor.
Click the Anchor to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Settings > under Anchor Name, enter a name for your anchor > drag the anchor to the desired location on your page.
Once you have added an anchor, you can link an element (image, button or text) to the anchor so that when the element is clicked, you are taken directly to the anchor's position on the page.
To link an element to an anchor: Click the element to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Link To > click Anchor > under Which page is the anchor on? select the relevant page > under Select an anchor to link to:, select the relevant anchor > click OK.
Note: To link text to an anchor you will need to highlight the relevant text, click the Link icon and then click Anchor.
