    How do I add or update MX Records in my Wix account?


    An MX record, or mail exchange record, is used to map a domain name to a list of message transfer agents for that domain. You can add or update MX records from the Domains page of your Wix account.

    If you are not sure of your MX records, please contact your current email host to request them.

    To add or update MX records: Sign in to your Wix account > from the top menu, hover over Subscriptions > click Domains > under My Domains, next to the relevant domain, click Manage.
    At the bottom of Domain Summary, next to Email (MX Records):, click Add > select I have an email provider > from the drop-down menu, choose Other > add or update the MX records > click Save.

    - An MX record is an address, not an IP number. An example of an MX record is: mx1.biz.mail.yahoo.com
    - Use lowercase letters only when entering your MX records.
    - If your domain is connected to your Wix site via Pointing, your domain host is in control of your MX records.
