    How do I add or update MX Records in my Wix account?


    An MX record, or mail exchange record, is used to map a domain name to a list of message transfer agents for that domain. You can add or update MX records from the Domains page of your Wix account.

    To add or update MX records: Sign in to your Wix account > from the top menu, hover over Subscriptions > click Domains > under My Domains, next to the relevant domain, click Manage.

    At the bottom of Domain Summary, next to Email (MX Records):, click Add > select I have an email provider > from the drop down menu, choose Other > add or update the MX records > click Save.

    Note: An MX record is an address, not an IP number. An example of an MX record is: mx1.biz.mail.yahoo.com

    Note: Use lowercase letters only when entering your MX records.

    Note: If your domain is connected to your Wix site via Pointing, your domain host is in control of your MX records.
