With the HTML App you can add your own HTML code or embed another site onto your Wix site.

To add the HTML App: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Apps > click HTML.

Click the HTML App to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Settings > under Mode, choose HTML Code or Website address > enter the code/address > click Update.

I have been in communication with UPS regarding their API services. Their Rating API has an HTML version but their Shipping API does not. Please advise how I can offer this to my customers

Please note that using an API (such as those you mentioned) requires you to code your own HTML/JS code - external content such as APIs cannot be integrated into existing Wix apps (such as the e-store) - however you can add the code you write to your site by using the HTML app.

I apologize but I was unable to completely understand your question - can you please elaborate and provide it in a more detailed way?

Awaiting your reply - we'll be happy to further assist!

I have some HTML code that is dependent in part on a javascript file. while I can get the base HTML to function properly, I can't seem to get the JS file to integrate. any suggestions or assistance from the community would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey Kathryn,

I have fixed this issue for you by adding target="_blank" to the code:

    <form method="post" target="_blank" action="http://fitproconnect.com/Subdomain/Subscribe.aspx">

It will open the form in a new pop up window.

Please let us know should you require any further assistance.

    html app not loading properly

I am having issue with my WIX app html insert. Everything enter in fine and the display shows properly on my a page, however, when a customer input their email into the html "opt in" the next screen for the app loads half the page and is cut off. The app should, when email is entered, load up a pop-out screen that allows them to easy browse the content. The creator of the html said no other websites users noted any issue and suggested we contact our website provider because it is an issue o the wix end.

    Website: www.Motivatorspt.com
App that is an issue: 42 Fat Burning Recipe Book (email opt-in)

Also, I am open to having someone who make know html code and can help me re-code the program to either open the page in a new window and/or have it pop out into a small new closable window.

Thank you for your time and consideration,

      Hi Kathryn,

Please note that for the code you've received to properly 'work as intended' it needs to be embedded directly into your site's source code, and not in an iFrame, which is currently not possible with Wix.

As a workaround, you can try adding the content in a full page-scaled HTML app, which can assist in terms of available space for the script to load content to the frame.

If the HTML app is not working, it is possible that there is a problem with the code. You can check that the code is correct by using this site.
Simply paste the HTML code between <body> RIGHT HERE </body> and click the button above (Edit and Click Me) in order to see the results.
If nothing appears in the right window or a certain component appears but doesn't work, this means that the code is problematic. Please contact the creator of the code and let them know that it isn't working.
If the preview shows the content as expected, then there is a compatibility issue with Wix. We're currently working on improving the compatibility of Wix with customizable code.

Keep in mind that by adding external HTML code you are adding products and code that we have not tested or created in Wix, therefore our support team cannot answer any questions concerning the HTML iFrame/Embed App.

We recommend testing your code externally.

You can do this using sites such as the following:

    Hello Wix Team,
I want to add tracking scripts (not google analytics code) in head tag+ body sections of website and also want to add Schema Code in my mobile site. All these scripts are suggested by my existing SEO agency to track it. I checked and not able to find out where I can add these scripts.

    Please suggest asap. Thanks!!!

Unfortunately, it is not possible to add external script to the head tag+ body sections of your site.

It is not possible to edit the source code of your Wix site.

Currently, you can only embed external HTML code as iframe to your Wix site.

Please note: Currently, you can embed external features only by embedding an HTML code.

With the HTML App you can test and add your own HTML code to your Wix site.

For more information check out the tutorial below, or you can click here.

    Hi there team,

I can't do this on my own, pleade help. My website: davidlynch.nl needs Facebook and Twitter plugins. Wix does have templates for that, i know, but here is my problem. I want to add multiple Facebook and Twitter plugins on multiple pages. For what I know, Wix doens't support that. I can only link to (let's say) my home page, not to a subpage (for example the film Eraserhead). So when my home page is liked, all my other pages are liked to because they all link to 1 page.

I was useing IFRAME, i learned that I could better use Java Script in HTML. But I find this hard to do.

Can you please tell me exactly what SDK Scrip Tap I need to place on davidlynch.nl? And how does this work? Or is there an other way to do this?

I saw the following pages, they didn't help me. I am Dutch, my English is quite okay but not that good so please explain it to my the easy way ;-)
