With the HTML App you can add your own HTML code or embed another site onto your Wix site.

To add the HTML App: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Apps > click HTML.

Click the HTML App to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Settings > under Mode, choose HTML Code or Website address > enter the code/address > click Update.

Note: Take a minute to read through the Known Issues & Limitations of the HTML iFrame/Embed App before using it.

I'm adding HTML code to the app, but its not showing when I publish the page? Does it need to be a premium site for that to work or is it something else?

      Hi tlz-allen2,

When you add a code from external source, that means you are adding an outside product. Therefore, Wix cannot provide support. Please see this section for detailed explanation.

      Thanks,

Can I embed Woocommerce into my Wix site?

Im building a site on Wordpress, using Woocommerce as my store cart. I have 2 other sites on Wix, and prefer working with Wix.

I read that one can embed Woocommerce directly into Wix. Is this acccurrate? Samples?

How well does it work with Wix?

    Thanks!

I am trying to add html code to my site.  I have added the 'app' but it will not show up.  The code is for a form so people can signup for my newsletter.  Can someone tell me what to do.

The 'html' box comes up.  I put in the code by 'copy and paste'.  The code shows up and then when I click update ........... the box remains empty.   The box is on the page but it is blank.

      Hi,

Keep in mind that by adding external HTML code you are adding products and code that we have not tested or created in Wix, therefore our support team cannot answer any questions concerning the HTML iFrame/Embed App.

You will find more information here.

My Wix site is currently a Flash site.  iPad's and iPhones are unable to see it.  Will adding HTML code work for this issue?   My site is www.getugoin.com

    Thank you,

      Hi,

Unfortunately not. You will have to create an HTML5 site.

You can create your HTML site now by clicking 'Templates' and choosing an HTML template. For more information on how to get started, click here or check out the below video!

We're excited to hear your feedback, simply post in our HTML Forum

      Thank you Ritti,

What if I added a mobile website, would that take care of not being able to view the flash site?

      Thanks,

      Daniel

      Hi Daniel,

Yes, you can add a mobile site for your flash site.

However, note that the Flash's mobile site editor offers less features than the HTML5 editor. It is a very basic version of your Flash site. We recommend building an HTML site.

If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask!

      Ella
