With the HTML App you can add your own HTML code or embed another site onto your Wix site.

To add the HTML App: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Apps > click HTML.

Click the HTML App to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Settings > under Mode, choose HTML Code or Website address > enter the code/address > click Update.

Note: Take a minute to read through the Known Issues & Limitations of the HTML iFrame/Embed App before using it.

    Where can I insert widgets?

I no longer see the widgets option in add, I only see text, image, gallary, media, buttons, blog elements, online store, social and apps. I want to embed an external code to wix, how can I do this?

      Hi,

An IFrame (Inline Frame) is an HTML document embedded inside another HTML document on a website. You can use the HTML app for this purpose.

Please refer to the best reply above for more information.

      Hi,

It's possible that the code you inserted is incorrect.

Keep in mind that by adding external HTML code you are adding products and code that we have not tested or created in Wix, therefore our support team cannot answer any questions concerning the HTML iFrame/Embed App

You merged my question with another thread and now I am COMPLETELY confused.  I cannot find the answer and still do not know  ALSO, please note that I am not interested in Wix contact forms since I have my own for which I pay for and it makes not sense to me to use Wix one.  Please respond to my original question directly.  Thank you.

Not sure if this is the right thread for this question.

I need to add some HTML code that will NOT work if it is within an iFrame if there any other method I can use on WIX so that this can work?

    Thanks

      Hi m95561,

      Thanks for contacting Wix Support!

Unfortunately it is not possible to add HTML code directly to the source code of your site and you will have to use the HTML app.

If you have any further questions please let us know and we'll be happy to assist.

      Hey,

If your purpose is to add external apps which are not included in Wix App Market, the first thing you need to do is to get its Html code.

After that, please follow the above Best Reply´s instructions.

Should you require any further assistance, do not hesitate to contact us.

    Hi,

I am trying to integrate a blog site from scoop.it into my Wix website. Wix gave me the idea to use the HTML App. So I went into edit mode to set it up. It works perfectly on the edit/setup. My scoop.it topic blog sits perfectly in the Wix webpage window, as an embedded frame.

Problem is, when I run the thing, by going to my Wix website live and clicking on the page from the menu panel, the following happens...

    1) the page opens perfectly, with the embedded blog clearly visible.

    2) after 3 seconds, the screen moves off my Wix website address with the embedded frame and onto the actual webpage address, which is a completely different page, not on my website. The address is a subdomain of my Wix site that was set up in the CNAME editor.

How do I stop this from happening, and just make the thing stay on my Wix website with the embedded blog frame, without going somewhere else?

    thanks!

I need to figure out some way to display good looking tables on wix.  Our league website I took over a year ago is old and out dated and I want to make something new and user friendly that will allow others to update it.    I love the wix interface and would love to make the site here but the only issue we have is there doesn't seem to be a good way at all to add a good looking table.  I tried out the HTML widget but the character limitations are way too small.  Can you make the characters unlimited?  We use tables for standings and schedules and are a MUST have.   The only solution I have thought of is creating a .jpg of the entire schedule and posting it but that's a very large file to load and doesn't look great.
