If your Contact Form is not working, please try the following:

 

1. Check to see that you have entered the correct email address in your Contact Form settings.

To check your Contact Form email address: Click the Contact Form that you added to your site > in the Settings window, under Email To, enter or correct the email address that you want Contact Form submissions sent to.

Make sure to Save and Publish if you make any changes.

 

2. Check that emails sent through your Wix Contact Form are not being recognized as spam and have ended up in your Spam/Junk/Bulk Folder.
 

Note: If the email address you added is example@YourSiteDomainName, make sure that the MX records are pointing correctly, click here to learn more.

    Hi

    My contact us page on my premium site no longer works. It has not been modified in any way it has spontaneously stopped working. Contacts have not gone into my spam folder, they do not reach my email at all. I have added a BCC address but it still does not send to either. After I input a contact and send it, I get 'your email was sent successfully' however it does not reach me (my email account works perfectly when receiving or sending mail otherwise so this is an error with the site).

    Please look into this as a matter of urgency as I will be inundated with complaints.

      Thank you for contacting Wix support.

      I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties.

       

      I have changed the email in the contact form to my own email and tried using the contact form.

      It worked properly on my end and I received the message in my Inbox immediately.

       

      I have also sent you a test mail to your address, have you received it?

       

      Please try using different and updated browsers, connections and devices and see if this issue persists.

      If id does please make sure that this is not a temporary issue with your email provider.

      This is clearly an error on your side - see the other posts below. Please look into this again. My emails work otherwise just not through the contact form

      Hi,

      I see you have removed the contact form app from your account. Which mail account do you wish it to send to the email to? Also, please check your spam and trash folders, as it is possible that gmail will send it there.

      Hi

      As stated above - please read my first post, the emails have not gone into my spam. This was a technical error on your side.

      I have had to delete my contact form as I can not afford to have more complaints.

      Its a shame you couldn't fix your technical error on my premium site but thanks anyway we can consider this issue closed now I suppose.

      I apologize that you feel this way, we will of course still be here to support if you still wish to use the app. As we've mentioned, this is a very specific issue and unfortunately can't be fixed without troubleshooting with you. We can use a hidden page on your site to make sure users don't experience this issue as well.

    Hi

    My chosen e-mail is a gmail account.

    I have double checked it and checked the spam..etc.

    but am not receiving the forms.

    would appreciate your help

      Hey,

       

      I tried sending you a test email through the contact form, see if it shows up in your inbox after several minutes.

      If its still not working, try removing the BCC email from the contact form and try using it on the live site again and see if it works then.

    Hello,

    I published my site today createinorange.com and noticed my contact form is not working. I have deleted it and put a new one on and re published and it still does not work. i checked the spam folder but no email in my inbox? Please help.

    Hi we are having the same issue with our website - www.csgresidential.com.au.

    We have added a contact form to the home page and also to the contact us page, neither contact forms work. It says email sent successfully but does not show up in our inboxes, they don't come up in junk mail either. Please help.

      As you are connected via Nameservers - Please ask your email hosting company what records need to be added and update them in the Domain Manager within your Wix account.  In the Domain Manager, you can add MX records, A records, CNAME records and TXT records. For more info about how to update these records, follow this link.


      If you find that your personal email address has not been working correctly since you connected your domain – it is recommended that you check if you have followed the steps as above correctly before contacting support at premium@wix.com

    PLEASE HELP!! I have two sites up with Contact Us forms and neither site is working. I have had people contact me angry for my lack of response. I have done several tests. I also checked my spam. I have also switched between various email addresses even ones of family members to see if it would work with theirs. PLEASE HELP!!!!

      Also, I am receiving emails from other sources right now as well. So I know it is not my email accounts.

      Hi,

      I sent your an email via the contact form  on : theacarter.com

      Please let us know if you received the test message from Wix.

      Also, I noticed your contact form is not placed properly within your Wix page.

      Please click on the contact form and drag it to your site page borders.

      You will see the contact form is attached to the page within the dotted lines will appears.

      For example: 

       

      If the problem persist, please try to remove the contact form box and add it again.

    Hi, I am not receiving any emails being sent through the contact form. I'm using Gmail. The address is correct, I've checked the spam folder, I've saved and published the website. Any help would be appreciated

      I sent you 2 test emails (test 1, test 2) via your contact form, please let us know if you received the emails. Also, please inform us if you received both emails or just one of them.

    I am not receiving anyone sending via my contact form I've just found out! This is costing me dearly! When I sent a number of mails via it to myself and it returns undelivered? But it states send successfully. What is going on??? My address is correct.

      Its now been 7 hours and you have just done what I told you it was doing. Every hour this goes on is costing me money. No settings have been changed by me whats going on?

      Everyone else can contact me using this address, bar the contact form!

      Hi,

      Is carlosjackal2000@aol.com your correct Email address? Are you able to receive Emails from other sources to that mail box? Did you check your spam folder? The messages might be ending up there.

      As stated before yes to all! Anyone who sends something ONLY from the contact form is not getting through, are you people not reading what I am saying. This is the second reply in hours that I'm repeating myself again????? At least if they were in the spam folder I could get them.

      I have edited your site and changed the email address in the contact form to my own and tried sending a mail.

      It arrived successfully.

       

      Are you able to receive any mail at all to your email account?

      Please try removing and re-adding the contact form to your site.

    When sending a message via my contact form page, users receive the following message "Error sending email, please try again later". My MX records are pointing correctly and I have followed each of the steps to fix the issue. I have attempted to send a message using different browsers and computers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kara

      Hey, 

      Please note that you need to fill your email address in the contact form. Click on your form and then choose 'settings' from the menu bar. Here you can add you email address.

    My Contact form is not working either.  I am not receiving an error message though.  Whenever a customer tries or we try to click on the send button, nothing happens.  Please advise!  Thanks

      That's because you menu's overlapping your "Send" button:

    We gave 8 different contacts with different email addesses on a page.  all emails arrive at the first contact although all the links are different.  Help

      I am not sure I understand what you mean- what links are you referring to? Please elaborate so I can better assist you.
