If your Contact Form is not working, please try the following:


1. Check to see that you have entered the correct email address in your Contact Form settings.

To check your Contact Form email address: Click the Contact Form that you added to your site > in the Settings window, under Email To, enter or correct the email address that you want Contact Form submissions sent to.

Make sure to Save and Publish if you make any changes.


2. Check that emails sent through your Wix Contact Form are not being recognized as spam and have ended up in your Spam/Junk/Bulk Folder.

Note: If the email address you added is example@YourSiteDomainName, make sure that the MX records are pointing correctly, click here to learn more.

    Having difficulties getting the contact form to forward message to my gmail account. Spelling is correct and nothing in spam. I have applied the google mail app under MX records and can't seem to find a solution. www.nickelcitylandscaping.com

    Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    I am having the same issue as the spanglemaker. i got the email info that was sent but it gives a message that "owner email address not sent".

    Also, I have embed codes to post a video to my page, can you assist me with that.

      Hi Sejal,


      Please be sure to save and publish your site before testing the contact form, if you've entered the email info in the contact form settings and didn't publish then the changes are not live. Then you can test it again, let us know how that goes.


      As for embedding HTML codes, since these are codes that haven't been tested with Wix we can't offer any support for it.

    My form isn't mailing to my business email address,
    just my BCC
    There isn't an issue with the address I have put because if I 'reply all' from the BCC address then the business one receives the reply

      Where is this hosted? Make sure that your mail provider doesn't block mails from @parastorage or otherwise sends them to SPAM or trash.

    I'm having problems getting my 'Contact us' page to work. It wont send emails to the address ive provided. It says "owner email address not sent". I have entered a valid email address that ive been using with no problems for some time. Can you help?

    I am really disillusioned with WIX customer service, you are VERY hard to get hold of. I notified you of an issue 4 days ago, and have still not had a satisfactory response. Your "Phone back" function is worse than useless, I need to speak to someone NOW not in some time in the future!!! I am losing credibility with prospective clients because they cannot contact me. I have put the return email in the correct box, and the error message is still "owner email address not set" Please can you address this as a matter of urgency.       I'm sorry you are having problems to contact Wix support.

      I've checked your site and I saw that you still didn't add the email to your contact form. I've made some tests and your contact form is working perfectly. I've added the email 

      enquiries@libertypersonnel.co.uk to the form. 
      If you want to add a different email or make any changes to your contact form, click the form followed by settings. After you finish will all the changes, don't forget to save and publish the site, otherwise the changes will not be saved in your form.

    Hi, my contact form on lisaandjames.co.uk doesn't seem to be working. I have tried linking it to an aol email account and a hotmail email account but I'm not receiving the test emails. I have checked the junk folders for both and the email is not being received there either. Can you help?

      We have noticed that a transparent text box is blocking your contact form. Please change the size of the text box or send it backwards in the editor:

    I'm having issues with my contact form. For some reason people viewing my website (on firefox & safari) are able to enter information in all the fields except for the first one. I tried changing it around and put Email as the first field and Name as the second, but it still wouldn't work. Whatever i keep as my first field is not working.

    I'm having no issues receiving emails from the contact form. But i would like for all the fields to work & not sure how to fix this.

    My contact form isn't working either. I have checked everything you suggested to  others. When I press send the message comes up as 'details have been sent' but no emails arrive either in BenEllison@aol.com  or BCC   LizziBolton@aol.com. I have also tried it without BCC but still no joy.

      I don't know if this will help shed some light on the problem but I have just tried to add a button linked to my email address as another way of contacting me and that doesn't work either. It puts up a blank document. I have deleted that again.

      Yes it has worked with a googlemail email address. Does that mean I can't use an aol email address for this.

      In the meanwhile, you cannot.

      Please note that you can use gmail's forwarding to use a gmail address as an intermediate between your aol inbox and your contact form.

    My contact form at www.ratioinnovacion.com is not working. The email hola@ratioinnovacion.com is able to receive normally, but seems that the form is not sending anything. I've checked the MX records in the Wix domain manager and seem to be ok. The MX server is set to mail.ratioinnovacion.com (from Hostmonster). Any idea?

      I just send you a test message. Have you received it?

      Please go to your Editor and make sure that you have added the correct email address to your Contact Form.

      Please also check if Wix is recognized as Spam mail in your email account; you may have received the emails in your Spam folder.

      Make sure to Save and Publish after you make the change.

      I dindn't receive your test email. It's not in spam. But I'm able to receive my own test emails to hola@ratioinnovacion.com (the address linked to the form), I've just tried it.

      I've double checked the form and the address is correctly spelled. May be the MX records are not properly configured, but I couldn't tell as I don't know much about it. I just left it in its default config after having transfered the domain ratioinnovacion.com from Hostmonster by pointing method.

      I've added your mail address to the BCC as well, please try again and let us know if it still doesn't arrive at the destination. If this fails, please let us know which mail provider you're using and what the MX records should be so that we can take a look.
