If your Contact Form is not working, please try the following:

 

1. Check to see that you have entered the correct email address in your Contact Form settings.

To check your Contact Form email address: Click the Contact Form that you added to your site > in the Settings window, under Email To, enter or correct the email address that you want Contact Form submissions sent to.

Make sure to Save and Publish if you make any changes.

 

2. Check that emails sent through your Wix Contact Form are not being recognized as spam and have ended up in your Spam/Junk/Bulk Folder.
 

Note: If the email address you added is example@YourSiteDomainName, make sure that the MX records are pointing correctly, click here to learn more.

    Hi there, 

    Unfortunately I am unable to receive emails via my contact form - I noticed earlier in the thread a user was having a similar issue: My form will say the details/email has been sent successfully, however the email does not reach any of the three devices I have the contact form directed towards. Correct email is set etc. 

    MX tables are updated. Can you please advise?

      Nevermind, i've updated the MX with additional info. Problem should be solved in the next few hrs. Thanks anyway.

    Hello,

    My contact form have also problems. I can't complete the field "Name"  it can t be writable. I already made this field mandatory as well as the others fields....so my error message is "Please fill in all required fields."

      Hi dabijaanca,

       

      The reason that the "Name" field on your Contact Form was not working was that the text box above it covered it as can be seen in the screen shot below:

      I moved this text box up for you and saved your site, however I have not yet published. If you are happy with the change, please click Publish from inside your Editor.

    Hello, 

    I'm having issues around my contact us page. I've followed all the tutorials and made sure that my email address is correct and that there is nothing in my spam folder.

    When I try to send a test email all I get is "an error has occurred"

    Can you please help me? my address is www.throughputEQ.com

      Hey mugai3,

       

      Please try entering your editor, click on the contact form and press bring forward until it is greyed out and not clickable anymore. Also, please be sure to publish your site again after.

    Hi,

     

    I am also having trouble with my contact form.

    It was working fine until a few days ago.

    I already sent several test emails and did not receive them nor did they go to my spam. I also checked the form settings and the e-mail address is correct... I even tried removing and adding the form again.. Also didn't work

    What's going on?

    Hello,

    I added a contact form to my site today - www.wordbirds.com.au - however, the 'name' field doesn't let me click in it to enter details. The other form fields are working fine, and if I click into the email address field I can shift+tab back to the name field, allowing me to enter details. Assuming there is some sort of bug? Please help!

      My form also doesn't appear as it does in my preview - the fonts are larger than what I have set...

      Hi enqui8193,

      I checked your editor and the problem with the "Name" field it that the "Let's talk" text box is on top of this field:

      Please move/ decrease the text box so it's not on top of the field. This should fix the problem :)
       

      About the size of the fonts- it looked the same in the editor and preview mode but I couldn't find how to get to it on your live site. Please elaborate if you are still having this issue.

    We are having the same problem as others with our contact form - embarrassing when people are trying to get in touch.  We have not previously had any problems with this and have checked the forwarding email address is set up etc.  Can you please help, Wix team?

    When I click on Contact settings, it shows my email address as where the form will be sent (and I believe it's mandatory), but when I try to USE the contact form, it says "owner email address not set."

    Hi there Wix.

    my contact form in the footer of www.thefoxbox.co.za has not worked the past few days.
    I have double checked the email address used, and that same address receives normal mail.
    Please Help.

      Unfortunately not.
      Thats why it is odd. the successful message is there.
      The site has been live for over a month, yet this was discovered about a week ago.
      The email address works fine, I've tested via Gmail. Client has checked her spam box for parstroage. No clue where this bug is hiding?
      Do you think it is a DNS issue? I doubt it as the site is displaying fine, and the mailbox is hosted by other with correct settings there.

      The only changes I have made during this issue timeframe.
      Was updated the SEO, as well as adding a google webmaster code into the header.
      As described by WIX in the advanced SEO settings.

      Can't think of anything else.

      If the issue persist, please try sending another email.

      If you still do not recive the emails, please try to delete the contact form from your site and add it again.

    Hi I am having the same problem. I have two contact forms. One that is used as a Newsletter and one that is a contact form. I have tried testing both of these forms myself to be sure that they work properly. I have not received any emails to the email account that is associated with my website. My website is www.pamperme-please.com
