It is not possible to receive a refund for a third-party app upgrade. App upgrades are monthly subscriptions and cancelling your upgrade will stop the renewal payment from occurring at the end of the month.

To cancel an app upgrade: Sign in to your Wix account > at the top right of the page, hover over the user panel > click Billing and Payments.

Under App Subscriptions, next to the relevant app, click Manage > next to Next Payment, click Cancel payments.

I have paid in full and upgraded the free Instant Search "Site Search" to premium, refresh my page several times and shown as premium but nothing working, total malfunction in following areas:

    1- Search not working

2- Can't remove the Power by instant search logo

3- Can't control over ads and related searches

4- Can't configure the search result page for not opening in new browser.

Disappointing.. These are what promoted in their banner published as 3rd party apps in wix app market, and there not option for refunding the money for search box that not working.

    Please reply.

      Hey Nai,

I apologize for the inconvenience this must have caused you.

This is a 3rd party app that was not developed by Wix. I am afraid that the support that we can provide for this app is rather minimal.

      Please contact them directly:
      Website: http://instantsearchplus.com/
      Email: support@instantsearchplus.com

You cannot receive a refund for your third party app upgrade. App upgrades are monthly subscriptions - you can cancel your upgrade and your renewal payment will cease at the end of the month.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The fact that you need to  go to the Manage Premium section of the account, Under Billing and Payment to modify App Subscriptions, is not evident or clear when you subscribe to a third party app.

I had subscribed to target hero for newsletter subscription on my website. I disconnected the service from the website 2 months ago. Little did I realise, the actual way to do it is under billing and payment.

    Lesson learnt. fingers burnt.

I'm sorry to hear that this is how you feel.

All of this information is available and easy to access in our support page:

A simple search would have prevented this incidence.

We take your feedback very seriously and will pass on this information to the relevant department in hopes of making this process clearer so that nobody else gets burnt as you did.

      Thank you.

Why does it say when purchasing an app that i am welcome to review our 'refund policy' and then says I am entitled to 14 day refund? Is this correct or what?

I bought an app, after i couldn't get support to answer my questions.

I tried it for 2 hours and it was useless.  To the point where I couldn't believe that Wix would carry an app that offered nothing new and no support.

I feel like I got "ripped off", considering that i bought the app that Wix endorses, but clearly doesn't deliver.

Not happy about that at all.

I did email them numerous times.

      No reply what's so ever.

How and what am I supposed to do that?  Why would Wix do business with affiliates like this?

I never used the app at all, besides to look at the back end.

I think I should be re-imbursed and let Wix deal with the developer.

Good luck, as they don't respond.

      When Can I get refunded?

      Thanks

Hi There. I purchased the upgraded "Latest News" app, but shortly after was advised by pet project labs that the text could not be edited - this rendered the app completely useless to me. I asked the creator of the app for a refund and was advised of the following,

    "Hi Ashley,
For a refund you need to contact Wix support as they are the one handling this.
    Thanks,
    Vincent"

I have already cancelled the app, but I need some assistance in recouping my $2.99

    Thanks,

    Ashley

Unfortunately, you cannot receive a refund for your third party app upgrade.

After canceling , your renewal payment will cease at the end of the month.
