Domains purchased through Wix are non-refundable as Wix is required to pay for the domain registration on your behalf.

If you no longer wish to keep the domain that you purchased, you can cancel your subscription by turning off the auto renewal process. The domain will expire on the next renewal date.

To turn the auto renewal off : Sign in to your Wix account > from the top menu, hover over Subscriptions > click Domains > under Manage Premium, click Billing & Payment.

Under Domain Subscriptions, next to the relevant domain, click Manage > next to Next Payment, click Cancel payments > select No, I will renew the domain manually > click Save.

      Hi,

Please note: You can cancel the premium package but you will not be able to connect the domain with an active premium package.

You can cancel your Premium plans upgrade at any time within the first 14 days and receive a full refund. Please be informed that it may take up to 20 business days for your refund to appear on your credit card statement. After the 14 days, you will not receive a refund.
If you would still like to cancel, please cancel your Premium plans first and then add your details in the link above. To cancel your plans, go to Subscriptions > Premium Plans > click Manage next to the relevant plan and click Cancel Payments.
You can find more information here.

      Hi,

I see that you purchased 2 different domain names.

If you don't wish to keep one of these domain names, please cancel it to prevent the renewal.

Once you purchase a WIX domain, unfortunately you cannot cancel, edit or delete the domain name.
However, you can change the auto-renewal settings so that you will not be charged after the subscription expires.

Please follow the directions below to end the automatic renewal process.

      1. From My Account, next to Manage
      Premium click Billing and Payment.
      2. Under Domain Subscriptions, next to your domain, click Manage.
      3. Next to Next payment, click Cancel.
      4. Click on the radio dial next to "No, I will renew the domain manually".
      5. Click Save.

I transferred my domain from an existing host, and paid a fee to Wix, the process was supposed to take UP TO 7 days, however has taken little over a week. There is nothing to say what is going on, or any kind of update other than "pending". Could you explain what exactly I paid money for, as so far I am not getting my monies worth and I wish to request a refund and go with a host who actually has 24/7 support. Time is crucial and scheduling a call to occur a week later, is NOT acceptable.

      Hi,

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties.

I checked your Wix account and I saw the transfer failed.

Reason:  We did not receive a reply to the approval email after transfer was requested.

      Instructions for how to resolve:

      • Verify that the email address for the domain admin/registrant is your own email address, as we will send a confirmation email to that address once the transfer is initiated. You can check your domain admin/registrant e-mail address(es) via the WHOIS database here.

      • Repeat the transfer domain process. Then, check your inbox for an email from support@wix.com and make sure to click on the approval link in the email.

      • Check the inbox of the email account that you registered with your current domain host.

      • Check your Spam folder if you do not see the mail in your inbox.

Please note that you will be refunded for the payment you made to initiate the transfer, if it fails. The refund will appear on your credit card statement within 20 business days.

You can initiate a new transfer request.

      Hi,

I did not receive any emails to any of my email addresses that I have- all folders and accounts were checked numerous times as I was anxious for results. I would like to initiated the refund as of now please. Unfortunately Wix has proven to be unreliable, and I cannot afford this to occur.

      Thank you.

      Hi,

As you can see in this search I've conducted the registrant email address for the domain 'tinkacostumejewellery.com' is contact@myprivateregistration.com.

If this is not an email address you have access to, please contact your current domain hosting company, as the confirmation email is automatically sent there.

Regarding the transfer refund, as the transfer failed you will be automatically refunded for what you were charged. Please allow up to 20 business days from the failure date for the refund to settle in your account.

I renewed my domain and then I upgraded to a yearly plan that is supposed to have a free domain with it. I did this all on the same day I just did it backwards...is there any way I can get a refund for the $14.95 since I purchased a year of the premium site?

    Free domain

Hi - I just purchased a year's domain with you and then went on to buy a premium account with you as well. I didn't realise that that came with a year's free domain. Is it possible to get a refund on my original domain purchase, please?

    Many thanks

    Greetings,

I generated this account over 2 years ago. I canceled the automatic renewal for the Wix Account which I thought the domain was connected. However I received a charge to my bank account for the domain which normally is updated when you make a payment through Wix. I find this method extremely filled with trickery and not transparent. This account is not in use and I would like a refund for the domain purchase especially having this organization is no longer functional.

    Thanks,

    Dion

      Hey Dion

Unfortunately Wix domain purchases are non-refundable once registered.

Wix domain purchases are separate from Premium package purchases and do not have a 14-day free trial policy.

I bought a domain through you, www.art2.prose.co.in ( 100 pounds) last year which was valid till july 2014. I upgraded too and the site was published, however, only for a few months.  but i received an email in January saying that my site was not valid. i was in inda at that time, but once back in London, bought another site, thinking my old one had expired, for another 100 pounds. i edited and rfepublished but sites still cannot be viewed on internet. I went back to wix, and apparently unless i pay 178 pounds (!!!) MY SITE CANNOT BE SEEN ON INTERNET!!!!!!

that seems to be unfair and as  i needed the site to be seen urgently as people want to view my profile, i think i should be refunded as soon as possible, not only for the money, but for missed opportunity because of YOUR negligence.

The details can be viewed on wix....my name is baldip kaur

      Hey baldip

Please note that Wix does not sell co.in domains- please refer to your domain host regarding this issue.

I can see that you have purchased the co.uk and .com domains from Wix.

Wix send notification e-mails to the users two weeks before expiration of the yearly package in order for them to decide if they want to continue the use of the premium or to cancel it.

I understand that somehow you missed this e-mail.

Your Premium package has recently been cancelled due to the failure of our billing system to renew your package.

Your Wix documents were not effected by this change, they simply reverted back to free status including the Wix ads and the Wix free URL.

If you would like to take advantage of everything Premium has to offer, please upgrade your document again.

You can find all the information regarding the Premium packages here.

      Eileen, Wix Team.
