I need to cancel a premium account and it is within the 14 day period. When I cancel under managing premium accounts it simply drops the auto-renew which in Feb 2014. How can I cancel and get a refund? thanks.

      Hey eckleberry

Your Wix Combo monthly Premium Package has been cancelled, and you have been refunded.

Please allow up to 20 business days for your refund to appear on your credit card statement.

You will no longer be charged by Wix for the premium you've cancelled.

In addition, if you also purchased a domain name through Wix that you would no longer wish to continue please be sure to cancel it.

      Thank you for using Wix.

      Eileen, Wix Team.

      Hey Cynthia

      I apologize for the confusion.

To be clear- your plan will be active until March 15 and you will not be charged again for it (not in March nor after).

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

I cancelled my account due to no longer needing the site at this time.  I want to know if:

1-it will charge me for March?

2-I can use the same webpage the next time I need it next year?

So what I am saying is if I cancelled this account then does the webpage just go inactive (which is what it was for most of the time because after I posted it no one could see the page) or do I have to start another one in the future?

    Thanks Cynth

      Hi Cynth,

I checked your account and I can see that you have cancelled your premium plan which will be renewed in March.

We never remove/destroy websites. If you go back to free from premium you’ll simply have your original Web address and Wix ads but you will still have full control of your site.

When you'll want to reactivate the premium feature simply purchase a new premium plan.

If there is anything else we can assist you with, please feel free to contact us again.

      Thanks

      Hey tlatamusic

Wix send notification e-mails to the users two weeks before expiration of the yearly package in order for them to decide if they want to continue the use of the premium or to cancel it.

If they cancel on time they are not charged.

I understand that somehow you missed this e-mail.

However- your Wix Premium Package has now been cancelled, and you have been refunded.

Please allow up to 20 business days for your refund to appear on your credit card statement.

You will no longer be charged by Wix for the premium you've cancelled.

      Thank you for using Wix.

      Hey Kevin,

Once you cancel the premium monthly plan, you will not be charged for the following month. You were charged for the month of January but you will not be charged for February.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

    hi,

I cancelled my Wix premium package because i no longer use the website.

I was due to be charged for the coming year tomorrow (the 14th), but cancelled the premium services some time ago.  So I was surprised to see an email in my inbox informing me that there was an 'urgent payment issue' - that Wix haven't been able to take the money from my account.  I'm just wondering if I need to let you guys know that this is what has happened- can you just confirm that you're aware that I cancelled my premium package, and am happy for the site to go down.

    Many thanks,

    Max

      Hi Max,

The outstanding payment is for your domain name which I see you haven't cancelled yet.

Please cancel your domain name to prevent any further payment attempts.

      1. From My Account, next to Manage Premium click Billing and Payment.
      2. Under Domain Subscriptions, next to your domain, click Manage.
      3. Next to Next payment, click Cancel.
      4. Click on the radio dial next to "No, I will renew the domain manually".
      5. Click Save.

      Hey,

Thank you for contacting Wix support! I was not able to locate a Wix domain under the account. However, I can see that you have a premium package upgraded. If you wish to cancel your account, first you'll need to delete your premium upgrade.

To cancel your premium upgrade, please follow the directions here.

-Each purchase guarantees a full refund only within the first 14 days of trial.
If you cancel your upgrade after our 14-day 100% money-back period, your Wix site will continue to receive premium status until the date when your current yearly/monthly payment ends. You will not be charged for the next payment period.

(Please note that this policy includes Premium package purchases only - it does not include Wix domains which are a non-refundable purchase. If you have purchased both a Premium package and a Wix domain, you will receive a full refund for the package only.)

-If you do cancel within the 14-day trial period, you will receive a refund within 7 business days. For more information please click here.

We never remove/destroy websites. If you go back to free from premium you’ll simply have your original Web address and Wix ads but you will still have full control of your site.

We are sorry to hear you have decided to cancel your Wix Premium upgrade package.  We hope you re-consider your decision and should you require any further assistance please don’t hesitate to contact us.
      Keren, Wix Support
