Once you have purchased a domain, you will not be able to edit, cancel or delete it. If you decide that you no longer wish to keep the domain that you purchased, you can change the auto renewal settings so that you will not be charged again after the subscription expires.


To turn off the auto renewal: Sign in to your Wix account > from the top right of the page, hover over the user panel > click Billing & Payment.

Under Domain Subscriptions, next to the relevant domain, click Manage > next to Next Payment, click Cancel payments > select No, I will renew the domain manually > click Save.

    I just made an upgrade to a premium and I was additionally charged for the domain up gradation. Is there any way to refund my money, because I already paid money when I bought the domain?

    @  brushnpalette,

    If you are the owner of the www.brushnpalette.co.nz domain name and you had previously been using it under a different wix account, please remove it from there (by going to Manage Premium > Domains > click on the red x by the domain name to remove) to add it under your new account.

    A year ago we originally had a web site design company build our site using wix they registered our domain www.brushnpalette.co.nz for us under my bosses name.

    We have now finished with them & they sent the site to us via e-mail & I transfered it to Wix as instructed.

    For the first time we have editing abilty over the site.

    I have now upgraded to the premium package & when trying to get our domain name shown above it say's this domain is already in use on wix, well that would be us from when we were being hosted the last 12 months through hotonline publishing.

    We just want to publish under our domain www.brushnpalette.co.nz  but can't.

    Wix does not offer Email services and doesn't host Email accounts.
    You can use any Email host you like. For general information please click here.

    Note: Google Apps for business have their own affiliated costs, and connecting these services to your domain is not a free service.
    Check out the Google Apps Standard Edition for more information on how to get up to 10 free emails for your organization.

    If you are having problems with your current Email, please ask your Email host for the MX records. You can find step by step instructions here .

    I am very new to all of this but I hope you can help me. I purchased a domain on WIX. I understand you do not host emails but I would like an email address with my domain name (e.g. name@domain.com). How can I do this? Can this be done if I host my site with a different company? Please advise and thanks in advance for your prompt response.

    If you have a Wix domain, click here for instructions on how to transfer it to a different host.

    When doing so you will receive the transfer code via email, have you received this email, have you checked the spam folder?

    my domain has expired.. and i want to transfer away from Wix..  i did all the steps in transferring a domain away from Wix... im being required by the new DomainHosting to get a Domain Auth Code from Wix... please help

    To connect your site to a domain please visit our Domain Portal. The connection may take up to 72 hours to take effect.

    I don't want to pay for the "free domanin" as I cannot connect it to my site unless I upgrade. Please let me know what to do. My domani is petaljewelry.com. By the way when I search for it it doesn't appear. I want to cancel this transaction. Thank you,Anca
