    Hi sherrymukim,

We cannot recreate the problem you've been having right now because you fixed it for now.

Please allow some time to pass and should the problem persist contact us again without rearranging the images so we can try and recreate the problem in our own computers.

I'll be happy to take care of your issue the moment I can recreate it!

For now, please try viewing your site through different browsers.

Wix supports all major browsers (including IE, Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari), and all of those browsers support the ability to export favorites and bookmarks to the newly installed browser.

That answer does not solve my problem. In fact, it does not even address my issue!

IS that the best you have got?

    Hi !

I recommend you always try and use the same browser with editing your site.

Wix HTML5 websites are optimized to display properly for the most common browsers and devices used today. However, it's important to note that the various browsers and devices use different rendering engines, and therefore may display minor differences in your website.

Sometimes these minor differences can have a domino effect- for example, a 1% difference in rendering of a font size, can cause a line with only 20 characters to appear 1/5th of a character wider. If your text box doesn't have any extra room for the text, this may cause the last word to wrap to the next line, which will make your text box longer and will 'push' the rest of the components under the page down (By the way, if you experience this issue, it's really easy to solve- you just need to make the text box a little bit wider in your editor to allow for extra space so that the text will still fit, even when it's rendered wider).

The web standard is still evolving, and it's important to keep up with the newest technologies and standards. That's why Wix is at the forefront of HTML5 website development.
We are doing our best to minimize the effects caused by the aforementioned factors, while continuing to provide you with the flexibility to create the most amazing website on the web.
    Have a great day,

Hi, I just fixed my website, so you may not see anything out of alignment. But, please see the attached picture of what it was before. Thank you.

The displacement of different elements on my homepage is happening yet again.

I tried following your advice of putting everything in one box.

To be sure, I added a plain box from shapes and lines, made it transparent, but then how do you group elements? Firstly, the smaller elements within the box do not get selected, since the box encompasses them, my only option is to select the box, unless I move the elements outside the box to select them. Secondly, even if i try selecting the different elements and the box, the only option I get is to align and arrange. How do I group or attach elements?

    Thank you.

    Best regards,

    Hey  sherrymukim,

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties.

I checked your site and I was unable to see any elements out of alignment. Your live site appears as set from your editor.

Please note Wix is compatible with Internet Explorer (version 9 and above), Firefox, Chrome and Safari.

If you have alignment issues there is a workaround -

By placing un-aligned content within a ‘container’, you are securing several different items within a single shape. Items within a ‘container’ are locked into position and so will not appear to move on their own accord and/or knock other items out of alignment.

Use a Box that is set to appear as transparent (by moving the opacity down to 0) as your ‘container’. Place all of the various components within this Box so that they are ‘attached’ to it. Once within their container, these items are essentially grouped together and will not fall out ofalignment

This work around should help to reduce some of the alignment issues you may be experiencing.
