Wix is compatible with Internet Explorer (version 9 and above), Firefox, Chrome and Safari.
 

With the new HTML Editor we give you option to use the advanced HTML5 technology which entails new capabilities and solutions for your site as well as comprehensive support for mobile devices. However, HTML5 is still a relatively new technology and it not yet fully supported by all browsers. These browsers will catch up with this technology, but to make sure things run smoothly, please make sure to update all your browsers to the most recent versions. You can easily check how well does your current browser support HTML5  here.

To download the latest Firefox browser please click here.
To download the latest Safari browser for Mac please click here.
To download the latest Internet Explorer browser please click here.

Note: Microsoft does not support IE9 on Windows XP. If you're using Windows XP, we suggest you use another browser. We hope Microsoft will provide a solution for supporting HTML5 in the Windows XP Operating System soon.

    Hi. On my site www.mxvinny.com I run a calendar with all Motocross events in New Zealand. I produce the calendar on a spreadsheet and also provide a direct link to the original information (by clubs and organisers). I then make the calendar in to a pdf format. When using Internet Explorer the links work well and I can follow then by a simple click. But when browsing with Chrome or Firefox it is not that easy. I end up highlighting the link and then have to click the highlighted are and select "open link" and click to be directed there. This is obviously annoying. Anything that can be done? And I am not sure where the problem lies; with the pdf writer, wix or Chrome/Firefox? Thanks Pete

      Please note that this is a browser setting. You may change the settings according to the Chromes instructions.

    When I view my website in Internet Explorer 11 (Windows 7 Home Premium) it does not display the background or any colors (ie. text, buttons, graphics, etc.).  But when I view my site with Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox it is perfectly displayed with background and colors.  Is there anything I can do to adjust the way the site appears in IE?  Thanks for your help.

    Hi, why some computer can open my site by using Chrome but some cant load? Some only can load it using IE or Firefox. Thanks.

      Hi, I have download the latest Google Chrome version but it is still cant load the site. I cant click the buttons on the site too. The photo below show the site can only load like this.

      I had no issues loading your site using Google Chrome:

      The only thing I can think that is happening is that maybe you are using a slow computer and the site simply needs more time to load.

      Please try to load your site again and wait even a few minutes if necessary.

      Please note that if this is the case it is caused by a local issue on that specific computer, and not a problem caused by Chrome, as on our end it's working perfectly.

    I have had reports back from people that my site is not loading correctly titles and script is being broken into separate lines and not legible. I am still building some of the page but I need to find a fix please

    I was able to load your site from my computer.

    If some people are not able to open your site, it's probably due to their browser.

    Please read instruction in the blue box above and lear which browser are compatible with Wix.

    My wix site, won't open or load :(

    hey, someone here.

    Actually i use wix for online registration for my organization, but some people said they can't open the site.
