Currently the tool cannot check sites that contain more than 50 pages. And if the full site report takes more than 55 seconds to analyze.

In both cases you will receive a a message for the full site, saying "full site report can't be processed".

We are already working on improving it.

If you receive an "Internal Server Error" and you assigned your site to a domain, please clear your cache and try again as this has been fixed.

Please note that once you make a change to your site, Google takes about 1-3 months to crawl your site again and make the changes visible to the search results.

      Hi,

Please make sure you publish (not only saving) your site after you change the SEO settings.

Also, note that the keyword meta tag is not considered by Google or other search engines. It should be used primarily as an organizational tool, so you can decide on keywords for your site. The keywords that search engines consider are those that are placed in your site content.

    Hello ,

Your Wix SEO   Monitoring Tool tells me my website has  2 Heading tags (H1). And that it should only have 1 .

However Bing SEO Analyzer tells me that my web site   <H1> Tag is missing and that Page is missing meta language information. And that these are serious errors.

    Can you please advise.

    • Natty

Replied by Natty April 17, 2014

      Hi,

Please note that Wix's sites are only campatble with the SEO wizard.

The following is a guide to help you manage the H1 for your HTML website:

Title - H1 - (only the most top left is H1 - second (etc) title will be H2)

      Page Title- H2

      Heading XL - H3

      Heading L - H4

      Heading M - H5

      Heading S - H6

The rest of the styles are mapped to paragraph tag.

Here are some tips about H1 headers:

      1. A proper HTML page allows only one H1 tag. If you place an H1 tag in your header or footer or if you marked it to be displayed on all pages, then you shouldn't add anymore H1 tags.

      2. If you don't check the "show on all pages" option on your H1 text, you can add one line of text (in a paragraph or title) that has an H1 style.

      3. The H1 text should be a single line. if you break lines, the H1 tag will be added only to the top line. If you would like the H1 tag to spread over more than one line simply click on shift+enter instead of only enter.

      4. If any of your pages has more than one line of text with "title" style then Wix will mark the top left title as H1 and the rest will be H2.

If you would like to view your new HTML website exactly as Google and other search engines see it, you cannot simply right click on the live site and select to view the source code - this is how it worked for the Wix Flash websites, but not for the HTML5 sites.

To view the HTML website as Google does, simply add "?_escaped_fragment_" to the end of your websites domain name. Eg. www.mydomain.com/?_escaped_fragment_

Once you are viewing the ?_escaped_fragment_ version of your website, you can right click to View Source Code, but this is only if you are interested in viewing the source code. Otherwise, seeing the ?_escaped_fragment_ version of your website is a nice way to see how Google is viewing your website.

If you want to check that the correct h1 has been updated within the source code; go to the Page Source, click CTRL + F, and type in "H1" to search for the H1 headers on your site.

      Hi,

The SEO wizard is caps sensitive, so the keywords need to show up exactly the same as they do in the title and description for it to show a 100% green result. This is because Bijoux jewelry gift service, is a very different keyword than bijoux jewelry, gift service which are two keywords for example.

As mentioned previously, the SEO Monitoring Tool is case sensitive, and as some of the words you are inputting have capital letters, where your home page title does not, this phrase is being treated as a completely different search phrase.

Please make sure to enter the phrases into the initial screen of the SEO Monitoring Tool exactly as they appear in your site.

On another note, I recommend incorporating your keywords into a title, rather than simply listing keywords or keyword phrases, as you have done. Simply listing keywords or keyword phrases in your site content can be considered keyword stuffing, an illegal SEO technique. We recommend incorporating keywords organically in your site content, as this presents greater value in the eyes of search engines.

      Hi,

You don't need to apologize! We're here to help.

As you can see in the page specific meta title - you've simply listed in the title the keywords one by one. bijoux and Bijoux jewellry - are not the same, so you wish to rank for them make sure the keyword - and the title are capitalized (Bijoux and bijoux) the same, and that there are no other symbols between the words. Also, we'd recommend using keywords you can add to a sentence or have them in some logical sentences due to the fact that google will consider random series of words as spamming keywords, which is not good.

      Hey,

Every Wix creation has an XML sitemap that assists in getting content recognized by search engines (and Google Analytics).

The sitemap is dynamically generated within our server and , therefore, stays up to date with any pages that you add or remove from your site.

To view your sitemap, add sitemap.xml to the end of your domain name. You can find your sitemap here: www.zentube.net/sitemap.xml

Here you can find more information on how to verify your site with Google - Can I verify my Wix site? and here you can find more information about your sitemap.

Please note that I have been able to find your site in the Google search results by looking up its URL.

We have also seen that the last time Google crawled your site was Apr 5th, which is great.

To see if Google has indexed your website, as well as the last time your site was indexed i.e. to see a cached version of your website, enter your website’s URL with the word “cache:” before it in the Google search. For example, cache:www.mydomain.com. If your website comes up, this means that Google has already indexed it.

Please note that your Wix site having been indexed is not the same as attaining a high rank according to a specific keyword phrase. Attaining a high ranking according to those keyword phrases may take time and continuous work.

If your website is not appearing in search engine results when you perform a search using specific keywords, you may need to continue the process of Search Engine Optimization. To help you get the results you want, please read out SEO Learning Center pages for tips and advice.

Please check here for more information about keywords and keyword density.

Another explanation could be that you have employed certain techniques that have dropped your website’s page rank. You can read about these techniques in detail here.

With the Wix SEO Monitoring Tool you will receive a Step by step guide to improve your site's SEO.

In addition, you can also target what your customers are searching for and it will help your site to get found on Google.

You may also consider using Google Webmaster Tools to help you in the optimization process.

      Hello,

Your home page does not have a heading tag (H1). Please add one:

      Page Title- H2

      Heading XL - H3
