Hi, I was wondering if someone could take a look at my wix site?

I'm using the SEO wizard and the report does not seem to be detecting the current content within my site and seems to be picking up on old content. I've since made improvements but the wizard does not register these.

Maybe the wizard is broken? I could send some screen shots if this would help.

    Many Thanks

Hi, i checked my SEO wizard tool, and followed  the instructions  to add my key words in title and discription and i did my H1 tag with my key words. I then saved and published yet when i checked my SEO tool after, it is still telling me to add my key words, which are- beau chic boutique and online women's fashion boutique. I have left it a few days and checked again and it is still saying attention and telling me to add my key word. Please can you help. When i type beau chic boutique in google i come up on page 2 half way down.

      Hey Chanel,

      Thanks for contacting Wix Support.

I have checked your site and SEO settings, and everything seems well configured.

The only missing part is adding the key words to your images.

Images added to your Wix website can be found by image search engines such as Google Image Search. This means that you can drive traffic to your site with your images!

      What are image names?

      • Providing names for your images is done using what is called Alt Text.
      • Alt Text provides users and search engines with information about your images. Search engine robots are unable to “read” images - only text. Alt Text provides information about your images to search engines.

Which of Your Images Should Have Alt Text?

      • Images that add information or value to the user. Decorative images that are merely aesthetic and are not relevant to your site’s content, do not need Alt Texts.

How to Add Alt Text to Your images?

With Wix, it’s easy! Simply follow these steps:

      1) Within the website editor, click on your image gallery.
      2) From the gallery property panel, click Organize Images.
      3) From the Organize Images panel, select the image you want to update.
      4) Add a Title to the image. The title will be associated by search engines to your image and will help them understand it. The title will also be used as alt text.

      5) You can also add more general details about the image in the Description area. Search engines will associate the description with your image and can better index it.

Note: The image title and description are the latest schema.org html standard and recommended by the major search engines.

At Wix, you can be sure that we are doing everything we can to make sure that your site is crawled by Google. While we at Wix are doing our part, there are many elements required from your side. To make your site searchable, please make sure to fill in your site's meta tags, and enable the 'Allow search engines to find my site' option:
Now your site will be able to appear in search engines. Please note that it may take 1-3 months for search engines to crawl and index your site. Please note that being indexed by search engines does not guarantee your site a high ranking, this depends on the work you put into SEO process.

    Best, Ritti

The Webmaster says when he deletes the word 'Solicitor' from the title and clicks OK/Done -the chnage is not reflected in the Google listings. I myself have changed it again today. It has been changed on numerous occasions to no avail.

How many times have I read your links and how many times have I followed your instructions to no avail.

Everytime I pay an expert to review my website they say that there is a problem that the wix software/program is not working well with Google. But neither wix or google can resolve this problem. Because I was trying to avoid the expense of migrating my website to another Host, starting from scratch setting up a new website with a new host - I have paid different Website experts to try to resolve the problem and they have all identified a problem with the wix programme that we cannot get wix to correct. Only wix can correct this, there is nothing I or a webmaster can do about the fault in the wix program.

Will wix please email me urgently - I can give you a contact email for the Webmaster and you can explain to him. My webmaster has been unable to get wix software to correct the problems. I would appreciate it if this can be resolved quickly now. It is a serious problem that following all your instructions is not helping to resolve. This has been going on for months now with no solution provided. It is making me ill.

Will someone please explain why my Webmaster has been unable to get the wix software to remove the word 'Solicitor' from the Google Listing?

Dimitry, I am not an expert, but I have employed an expert to look at this problem and he has confirmed that the wix program is malfunctioning with Google and other Search Engines. Wix must either put this problem right very quickly or I will have no alternative but to leave wix. Believe me - I don't want to leave wix - it will cost me a lot of money to start all over a gain with a new website host, but Wix and Google are giving me no alternative. All wix have done is ask us to follow instructions that we have already followed. All Google is saying is that there is a problem with the wix software that wix have to address. Something to do with Ajax.
