I'm extremely upset with the fact that I have to pay money to an external website ( Google) just to see something as simple as my visits and stats.
I could care less how quote unquote "hard" it would be for your developers to implement this for the very fact of there are plenty of people paying good (American) dollars to host their websites on WIX.

Now we are expected to pay Google for something that other hosting sites give for free (LAZY), even if I had to pay $10 more per year it would be worth it to be able to simply access this miniscule data through the WIX dashboard.

While I'm on a rant, your phone service 100% SUCKS!, When I try to call and talk to somebody I wait at least 10 minutes for an (automated voice) to tell me that I can press a button for a call back three days later, then I wait because of course no one wants to have a call back three days later (BECAUSE MY PROBLEMS WILL BE FIXED BY THEN) only to set and wait for over an hour and have no one pick up.

My contract ends with WIX this coming January, definitely looking into www.squarespace.com for better support and a company that actually cares about its customers. I urge you not to reply to this comment because I could give 2 S***S to hear what you have to say about all of this .
Stop making up excuses and fix your problems.

    Thanks. ;)

This is beyond frustrating. Why can't the daily views and stats just be on the dashboard like most hosting sites. I am so bummed we went with wix now.

    Hi Wix

Seriously! No way of tracking?? So you sign up and then along the line its one hiccup after the next. Will there ever be a way within the site to track hits ( trafiic ) ? Are you making plans for this ?

I'm really upset that you moved to google analytics. Now I have to spend money to just see how many views my site gets? I wish you just kept it simple and on wix like before.

      Hey shandalepiers

I'm not sure I understand- Wix has been using Google Analytics for years for site stats- what exactly do you mean by 'like before'- please elaborate and be as specific as possible.

      Eileen, Wix Team.

      Hi rockawayridge,

Please note that you can only view your GA data through your GA account and there was never a way of seeing the data in your Wix account.

If you have any other questions, please let us know!

      Thank you,

How do I track web stats?

    • Barrios Wix Team

Replied by Barrios July 6, 2014

Thank you for contacting the Wix support team!

You can use Google Analytics to collect tracking information about your site including the number of visitors and page views, where visitors come from, how long they stay, what keywords they are using to find your site and more.

To use Google Analytics, you will need to own a domain (like www.mydomain.com). Accordingly, Google Analytics is only available to users who have upgraded their Wix site to a package that includes using your own domain. For upgrading instructions, click here. For more information about our packages, click here.

For more information and a video, click here.

We are here should you have any further questions!

      Many thanks, Barrios

      Currently this option isn't possible.

We are constantly working on adding new features to the HTML editor.

You can vote for this feature in this thread.

In addition, we have opened a dedicated Wishlist for Conversion Tracking. This Wishlist provides a handy workaround which you can follow, and you can add your vote for this feature!
