      Hello,

You indeed do not have any meta tags in your header code. Please go to Settings > SEO settings > advanced SEO settings > insert the code there.

In case you still have issues, please paste the code you wish to insert here.

      Thank you in advance.

      Hi,

Please note that the Advanced SEO Settings field is for verification meta tags only.

Only valid HTML tags <> will be accepted. Unfortunately, <SCRIPT> won't pass validation.

If you are certain that your code is valid, Try using other browsers to open Wix. Recommended browsers include Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer (version 9 and above), ans Safari.

If you are still having issues, please provide us with the code.

      Thank you.

      HI,

First thank you fore merging the topics.

i have been looking around a bit and from what i gather is that a code like :
      <!-- Begin Inspectlet Embed Code --> <script type="text/javascript" id="inspectletjs"> window.__insp = window.__insp || []; __insp.push(['wid', XXXXXX]); (function() { function __ldinsp(){var insp = document.createElement('script'); insp.type = 'text/javascript'; insp.async = true; insp.id = "inspsync"; insp.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https' : 'http') + '://cdn.inspectlet.com/inspectlet.js'; var x = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; x.parentNode.insertBefore(insp, x); } if (window.attachEvent){ window.attachEvent('onload', __ldinsp); }else{ window.addEventListener('load', __ldinsp, false); } })(); </script> <!-- End Inspectlet Embed Code -->

would not be permitted because of the Script tag ? is there any other place or way of doing it or am i just out of luck?

    Hello,

I have added the meta description, keywords and site titles for each page. However when I check the meta description, keywords and site titles of those pages they have not changed and each page has the same  meta description, keywords and site title as the homepage.

I have followed the steps many times (click on the Pages button, then the gear for each page, and edit the SEO settings) and did this for each page. Furthermore, I would like to point out that I have used many different tools to check the meta data, just to make sure this was not the issue.

Nothing seems to change SEO wise and therefore I hope somebody can help me soon...

    Kind Regards,

    Paolo

      Dear Paola,

Not all external wizards can read Wix sites.

You can see the meta data if you view the source code of the escaped fragment, and can also use our own SEO wizard.

If you want to view your new HTML website exactly as Google and other search engines see it, you cannot simply right click on the live site and select to view the source code - this is how it worked for the Wix Flash websites, but not for the HTML5 sites.

What you need to do to view the HTML website as Google does, is simply add "?_escaped_fragment_" to the end of your websites domain name. Eg. www.mydomain.com/?_escaped_fragment_ Once you are viewing the ?_escaped_fragment_ version of your website, you can now right click to View Source Code, but this is only if you are interested in viewing the source code.

Otherwise, seeing the  ?_escaped_fragment_ version of your website is a nice way to see how Google is viewing your website.

The following is a guide to help you manage the header tags for your HTML website:

Title - H1 - (only the most top left is H1 - second (etc) title will be H2)

      Page Title- H2

      Heading XL - H3

      Heading L - H4

      Heading M - H5

      Heading S - H6

The rest of the styles are mapped to paragraph tag.

We can assure you that all of your Page Meta Tags are been crawled and recognized by search engines. A lot of time and thought has been put into the SEO side of this new product.

For information on on changing the format of your Wix Font click here.

After purchasing a premium upgrade, connect Wix with the Bing Webmaster Tool and the Google Webmaster Tool

To see if Google has indexed your website, as well as the last time this happened i.e. to see a cached version of your website, enter your website’s URL with the word cache: before it in the Google search. For example: cache:www.mydomain.com

With the Wix SEO Monitoring Tool you will receive a step by step guide to improve your site's SEO. In addition, you can also target what your customers are searching for and it will help your site to get found on Google.

    Hello ,

I have set onpage seo for all pages like "title", "description" and "keyword" but i have faced a big problem in seo ... my all pages get home's "description" and "keywords". Which is repeated in all pages. This is not good and how to fix this problem that my exact pages get own "description". "keywords"...  which i have already given.

Indeed having the same description for every page of your site is not healthy for SEO.

You can change individual pages' SEO settings by clicking on Pages, then clicking on the gear for each respective page for its settings. In the new window you will find SEO Page settings which you will be able to freely edit.

Then you will need to edit them in the manner that I have described. Just click on the Pages button, then the gear for each page, and edit the SEO settings.
