Unlike for Flash sites, it is not possible to right click on your live HTML5 site and select to view the source code. Instead you will need to add ?_escaped_fragment_ to the end of your sites domain name. Eg. www.mydomain.com/?_escaped_fragment_.

Once you are viewing the ?_escaped_fragment_ version of your site, you can right click to View Source Code, but this is only if you are interested in viewing the source code. Otherwise, you can simply view the ?_escaped_fragment_ version of your site which will show you how Google views your site.

The following is a guide to help you manage the header tags for your HTML website:

Title - H1 - (only the most top left is H1 - second (etc) title will be H2)

Page Title- H2

Heading XL - H3

Heading L - H4

Heading M - H5

Heading S - H6

The rest of the styles are mapped to paragraph tag.

We can assure you that all of your Page Meta Tags are been crawled and recognized by search engines. A lot of time and thought has been put into the SEO side of this new product.

According to this my sites does not have any seo or meta tags or headers.. so how is it supposed to ever be found?????  Also this "escaped fragment"  thing is a load on rubbish as my sites look like a dogs dinner..i.e. the stuff is all over the place when viewd.. If the Ajax thing still aint working properly please revert back to the older versions as people ARE paying you for this service?

What I got when viewing the source...

IMPORTANT! LOOKING FOR THIS SITE’S SEO CONTENT?

This site's SEO content, such as meta tags and headers, is not here.

This is because search engines, like Google, actually crawl the site's homepage via http://www.businessmoneymatters.co.uk/?_escaped_fragment_=.

Internal pages, like "BUSINESS SAVING SOLUTIONS", also have their own special search engine versions, for example: http://www.businessmoneymatters.co.uk/?_escaped_fragment_=business-saving-solutions%2Fc194u

If you’re looking for this site’s SEO content, that’s where you can view it.

      Hey,

Please note that when you visit your site using the ?_escaped_fragment_= at the end you can see all your meta tags by clicking on your page and choosing 'view page source' from the menu:

We constantly develop Wix to remain on the cutting edge of SEO.
Once you have updated your SEO settings, it usually takes anywhere from 1 to 3 months for search engines, such as Google, to crawl your site and update their database. However, this just means your website will be indexed. Finding your website using your relevant keywords in an organic search may take even more time.

SEO requires time and commitment; setting yourself realistic goals and expectations is important.

Here you can find more information on how to improve your SEO.

Please let us know should you require any further assistance!

This is all interesting but is there someone I actually 'speak to'.    There seems to be a lot of 'can't do' on here but there is a lot that I 'need to do' like others, I need to verify my site with Google Webmaster tools but can't embed the code into my meta tags .... I simply cannot wait months to drive traffic to my website.  Currently it is published but can't find it anywhere on any search engine, which is pointless as I may as well not be open for business!    I'm sitting here waiting for the phone to ring and people don't know I exist.  Do you have an actual 'helpline'?

Unfortunately it is not possible to add HTML code directly to the source code of your site.

Information about verifying your domain with Bing Webmaster Tools can be found in Can I use Bing Webmaster Tools?

      Hey  LMBell

Wix no longer enables embedding of Wix sites- I'm afraid you will not be able to embed it in IMVU.

    Hi  teeearls,

The URL of your other pages will be in the following format:

    http://earlsgroup.com/?_escaped_fragment_#!c1tad/?_escaped_fragment_

    Thank you,

    Dina.

I'm having trouble seeing the Google view of my website for pages OTHER than the homepage.  For example, http://www.earlsgroup.com/?_escaped_fragment_ works perfectly, but can you give me an example of how to view a page like http://www.earlsgroup.com/#!portfolio/c1tad/?_escaped_fragment_ (I've also tried variations on this URL).

    thanks

It is not possible to download any Wix creation from the platform, all Wix creations need to remain connected to the Wix servers at all times.

You cannot download the code for your Wix creation, in order to edit it through another program.

    Dear Sirs,

thank you for your quick replay but I understand that I didn't explain well my matter, I'd like to know if I can have source code, without reference to wix environment, in order to put it into my progaramming environment such as microsoft visual studio for istance, to build my web site.

If it is possible, it would be nice if it can be done for free but, on the other hands, how much does the source code could costs ?

    Thank you very much

    Kindest regards

    Maurizio
