With Google Analytics you can track information including the number of visitors and page views, where visitors come from, how long they stay, what keywords they are using to find your site, and more.

To use Google Analytics, you will need to upgrade your account to a package that allows you to connect a domain:
"Connect Domain", "Combo", "Unlimited" and "eCommerce".

For more information, please click here.

To add your Google Analytics ID:
Copy the part that looks like UA-1111111-1 from your Analytics account -> sign into Wix > My Account -> click on the "Domains" tab next to "Manage Premium" -> click "Manage" next to your domain -> next to Google Analytics, click "Change" -> paste the code in the Google Analytics ID field.

You will start getting data on your Wix website within a week.

Please note that adding a tracking code in order to use Universal Analytics and In-Page Analytics currently isn't possible.

    Hello, I have been running google analytics for a while now, but suddenly my bounce rate is at 100 percent all the time. Is their a way I can check to make sure that I am still receiving correct information through my GA reports?

    Hello Wix team,  I already have the google analytics installed on my wix website. howeer I would like to implement display advertising features for google universal analytics but I am unable to do so because I do not have access to the HTML of the website.

    To implement Display Advertising features for Universal Analytics, insert the bold line into your existing tracking code between the 'create' and 'send' commands, as seen in this example:

    (i[r].q=i[r].q||[]).push(arguments)},i[r].l=1*new Date();a=s.createElement(o),
    ga('create', 'UA-XXXXXX-XX', 'example.com');
    ga('require', 'displayfeatures');
    ga('send', 'pageview');

      Hi alexlemoin9,

      Thank you for contacting Wix support!

      You can try to add the code using the HTML app. For more information click here

      Please keep in mind that by adding external HTML code you are adding products and code that we have not tested or created in Wix, therefore we cannot answer any questions concerning the HTML iFrame/Embed App.

      If the HTML app isn't working, it may be a problem with the code. You can check if the code is correct by using this site.

      Please don't hesitate to contact us for any further assistance.

      Gat Wix Team.

    Hi Wix gang.

    I've just purchased a premium package and my site is almost ready to publish. I have a Google Tracking ID already but simply cannot see (despite searching for the last forty minutes ) how to add it to my site. I tried following the instructions on your help page "Site Statistics (Google Analytics)" but still am none the wiser.

    I followed your instructions:

    2. Sign into Wix.com and click My Account.
    3. From My Account, click Manage Premium and then click on the Domains tab.
    4. Next to your domain, click Manage.
    5. Under Domain Summary, next to the Google Analytics field, click Change.
    6. In the Google Analytics ID field, paste the code that your copied in Step 1.

    After signing in. I see no mention of "My Account" so I click on the nearest thing to it which is "Account settings" but this page doesn't display anything that I need.

    My tracking ID number is UA-3374040-1

    I hope you can help me as it is beginning to annoy me!  :)

    Thanks in advance for the help.

      OK It's me again. Through luck, rather than through anything else, I finally managed to find (with the help of two colleagues) how to add the code. maybe you should put a well defined link to it instead to users having to search for ages.

      I have looked into your site's source code, it seems that the code is there:

      Please note that it might take one week before you start seeing statistics in your google analytics account.

      If you encounter further difficulties, please let us know

    I have an upgraded account and am wanting to add Google Analytics. When I click on "Domains", I do not see "manage" anything...only the options to purchase a domain name or to transfer a domain we already own. I already have a domain name an have transferred it. I can't get past this page or see anywhere else I can add the analytics code. Help me please? Thank you!

      Hi patriotictrends,

      I checked your account and you don't have a domain connected to it yet. Perhaps you transferred the domain to another account? Please assist me by providing with the domain in question so that we can further assist you.

      We await your reply,

      Thank you,

    I noticed I put the wrong code in Google Analytics, and switched it yesterday. The problem is I need site visitation from a few weeks ago. Can Google go back in time after I put the new code in and collect this data?

      Unfortunately, it is not possible.

      If you placed the wrong code , Google has not detected information from your site.

    I'm trying to get my site veried by google.  My domain was registered with another host and I have modified my DNS nameservers to wix, so my site is connected.  The google wizard offers me to get verified with Wix in 3 steps, and Wix asks for permission.  I click that, but it returns an error message.  I thought that maybe I need to use the other host where domain was registered, so I did the TXT record option with them.  It's not working yet, but says it may take time.  Which is the correct method for this?

    Thank you
