To upgrade your site: Sign in to your Wix account > click My Sites > next to the relevant site, click Upgrade.

Note: Upgrading your site entitles you to connect your domain, among other premium benefits, which differ from plan to plan.

Upgrading a site does not include upgrading Apps from the Wix App Market. Each App was developed by a different third party company and has its own terms of use.

 
Wix gives you the opportunity to add Apps to your site, both free and premium. You can choose to use the free version, or to use the additional features included in the upgraded version.
 
The Apps available in the Wix App Market have many different features, and not all of them require an upgrade. For more information about the Wix App Market, please click here.

      Thank you for reaching out,

       

      Your site title will be displayed in your browser bar while your site is loading. Once your site has loaded, the home page title will be displayed. If the site title is blank, then the original site name will be displayed.

       

      To change your site title: From the left side of the Editor, click the Settings icon > click SEO (Google) > under Site Title, enter the site title.
       

      Make sure to fill in your site and page Meta Tags (title and description) as well. If you do not want there to be any change in the browser bar when your site is loading, simply make the site title and home page title identical.

      For more information about meta tags click here.

       

      Note: If you are a free user, the "| Wix.com" text in your title bar will remain. The premium plan includes removing the "| Wix.com" text.


      Note: Changes will take about one month to appear in Google.

      Hi!

       

      You can upgrade your Premium site from a monthly to a yearly payment plan at anytime. You will only be charged for the difference.

      To upgrade your site from a monthly to a yearly payment plan:

      1. Sign into Wix.com.
      2. Click My Account.
      3. From My Account, next to your site click Upgrade your site.
      4. From the upgrade page that opens, choose a package and mark it, then click Buy Now.
      5. Follow the prompts to complete your purchase.

      Hi!

      To upgrade your website simply follow the instruction located at the top of this thread in order to purchase the premium package of your choice. 

       

      Regarding your site's address,  the format of the free Wix site URL is username.wix.com/sitename.

       

      You can find your URL simply by clicking on Settings inside your editor > Site Address. You will find your URL under "Your Site Address is:".

    I'm trying to upgrade to a monthly subscription after m first month trial has run out, basic $8.10 subscription, but when I try to sign up and check out, I'm requested to sign in with something else that I don't have a clue about... so in other words, I can't check out and pay the $8.10 subscription, our site is still live though. Please advice

      You have a free site and no paid services under your user account. Perhaps you purchased something under a different user account? If so please contact us through that account.

    I have a yearly "unlimited" account, but I want to use the "online store" for a single month.  If I upgrade and pay for it by the month, when the month ends, will it revert back to the "unlimited" account?  And how the heck do I upgrade, its not super obvious.  Thanks.

      I'm afraid that it is not possible to upgrade a Yearly plan to a monthly plan.

      What you can do in this case is to add another eCommerce monthly plan, attache the site and domain to it for a month- then cancel it (before it auto-renews) and switch the site and domain back to the Unlimited Yearly plan.

      Please note that the Unlimited yearly cannot be 'frozen' during that time.

      If you'd like to do that- please go to my account=>packages=>unassign
      Then go back to the 'my account' page and upgrade the site to the eCommerce month;y plan and connect it to the domain.

      According to our record, the account associating with a domain name "eliteninasimone.com" has not been deleted. In fact, this domain name is added to the account from which you are submitting this topic.
      On the other hand, you have cancelled your Monthly Connect Domain Premium Plan on January 10, 2014. Since connecting a domain is a premium feature, if you wish to have you Wix site published under your domain name, please upgrade your site. Since it was a Monthly Plan, there is no need to restore your Premium feature. All you need to do is simply upgrade the site you want to connect your domain name to.

      It all depends on what you wish to do with your site. 

      Please note that some features are only enabled with certain premium upgrades (such as the Online Store only works with eCommerce). Please click here to see an overview of which feature is available with which of our premium packages.

    Please also note that you have not assigned your domain to your premium Wix site.

    To resolve this issue, simply access Manage Premium > Domains > Manage (next to the domain) > Change (next to Wix site), select your Wix site and then 'Save'.
