I set up a new advertising account to use the facebook voucher and tried to put the voucher code in and it said that first of all the voucher number was invaild so I tried again and it said that I had used the voucher a maximum number of times which is crazy considering I havent been able to use it yet.
Would it be possible to get another voucher number sent through or something so I can try it? The only reason I signed up for an account was because of the benefits that came with it

I agree with what everyone has said about this coupon. I was just charged $100 from Facebook because I have two websites through WIX. Both of which I tried to use a voucher for. I'm the owner of two businesses, OF COURSE I already have a Facebook Advertiser account!!! STOP using Facebook as an excuse for poor instructions on your website. You need to be CLEAR that you have to make a NEW Advertiser account and perhaps give directions for doing so. If you can deactivate your old account and make a new one, say so. If you can't do that and you are screwed period if you have an account already, than say so!! It is not clear! You click the redeem code and it automatically says it was added. That is false advertising. People who are trying to run small and new businesses are being completely screwed. I'm so disgusted, you guys should be ashamed of yourselves. Over 200 responses this thread has had, all those people losing money because you can't be honest and straight with your instructions...

This is false advertising on Wix's part. I am really shocked by Wix. I have four websites with you and nowhere did I see that the facebook ads voucher was only for first time users. I have also now spent a lot of money with facebook unwittingly thinking that my voucher money was being used. I am a new business and every penny counts. This is thoroughly unfair and am really disappointed with Wix. You really need to make it clear that it is for first time users.

This $50 'free' Facebook ad is a complete rip off!!!!! You do not make it clear at all in your instructions that you can't use it if you have advertised through Facebook before. Your instructions are so deceptive, they make it sound so simple and yet something that was meant to be a free gift has ended up costing me money! You shouldn't be allowed to have important limits to this offer written so small in the terms and conditions. Why doesn't it say in the title Free $50 Facebook ads to NEW Facebook advertisers.
And from what I have read there are pages of people with the same issue and you continue to blame Facebook but you are at fault too. You have set it up in such a way where we just have to click on the code and it will 'automatically get added to our account' then we are not told this code will not work for us, it continues to let us set up, run and pay for an advert that we think is going to be free and we are never told otherwise until we are faced with a $50 bill!
This is not on wix! You are screwing over your most loyal customers, the ones who have just signed up for a whole years subscription with you and then you con them into spending a load more money on something they thought was a 'free gift'.

For all the users about wanting to know if the coupon code is accepted by FB or not...If you enter the coupon code and it's accepted, in the billing page on FB, it will indicate a $50 credit (or whatever the amount)...even if you have a card on file, supposedly FB will use up the coupon credit before charging the card. (i found out about this through other coupon code i used before)
I am also victim of the rip off by Wix...I could not use my coupon. Wix wording is a little tricky as well. They said in "How to Claim the Voucher" that (not exact word) "you need to create an ad first and then the coupon code will apply"...but if you do that, and the code is invalid, then FB will charge your card. So avoid the scam...because I also thought they had a different way to apply Wix coupon code in FB so i created a $5 ad to try to see if the coupon code could be reflected on my FB ad account...it didn't and charged my card for the $5 testing amount...
Wix can't just try to blame this T&C on FB because you are the one promoting the coupon...you are their partner in this promotion...there is no excuse you are just point the finger to FB...
