If you currently have a monthly plan, you will need to upgrade to one of the plans listed above in order to receive the free domain voucher.

    I bought a yearly unlimited package this afternoon, but i couldn't get the free domain. the option was not available so I had to cancel the plan.

      I checked your Wix account and I saw you canceled the premium package.

      Please note: You will see the domain voucher via your Wix account under the Vouchers tab only after 48 hours from the moment you purchased the package.

       Hello, I do see the "Get you 1 year free domain voucher" link and I clicked it but I still need to pay .

      I saw an option of "use my free- year Domain gift" on the purchase page but it wouldn't let me click. Please give me a solution. thanks.

      If you have purchased a Yearly Wix premium plan (Combo, Unlimited, or eCommerce), you are eligible to receive a free domain name for one year.

       

      To claim your domain voucher: Sign in to your Wix account > from the top menu, click Subscriptions > under Manage Premium, click Vouchers > under Free Domain, click Get Your 1 Year Free Domains.

      On the following page, enter the domain name in the search box > click Search to see if the domain is available > if the domain is available, click Get It > follow the steps provided to register your domain.

       

      When you reach the Purchase screen, make sure that the box next to Use my free 1 Year Domain gift is checked.

      Hello Eileen,
      I did follow all the steps until the final purchase screen,the "box" next to "Use my free 1 Year Domain gift".It wouldn't let me click...it's just a image, doesn't work.

      Please try to use the domain again, make sure you follow the instructions above posted by Eileen.

      Here might be the solutions: is it possible that you guys can connect to my one year free  domain for me?( cindysun.co)

      Or let me connect to the domain I have owned ( which is new, I actually bought it right  before I upgraded my plan, but later I realized that the domain need to be more than 2 months old  when I tried to connect )

      Hello,

       

      Please note that you can connect domains to Wix sites without having to wait 2 months. The two month requirement applies only to domain transfers.

       

      Also note that .co domains cannot be purchased from Wix. Wix currently offers .com, .org, .net, .biz, .co.uk and .info extensions.

    Either my free domain has expired before I could use it or that I didn't get it at all and if so, could you

    Hi, I have purchased my yearly ecommerce package earlier this month. My vouchers for Adwards and Facebook wasn't available for the first 48 hours. However, the face of page has changed and I'm not longer able to see my vouchers.     Hi, I purchased eCommerce yearly package with free 12 mths domain inclusive yesterday. I typed my domain on Google to test it, but nothing come up. What do I need to do to list my company name/domain on google? Can you help? Thank you

      Hi,

       

      I can see that you have upgraded and launched your site just yesterday.

      Please be aware that it can take anywhere from 1 – 3 months for your site to be crawled and indexed in order to appear in search engines such as Google or Yahoo. This waiting period is the same for all websites, not just those created using Wix.

       

      To see if Google has indexed your website, as well as the last time this happened i.e. to see a cached version of your website, enter your website’s URL with the word cache: before it in the Google search. For example: cache:www.mydomain.com If your website comes up, this means Google has already indexed it.

       

      Remember, if your website has not been crawled and it has been less than 3 months since publishing, don’t worry – give it a little time and try again.

      Alternatively, you can help speed up this process by submitting your website to search engines directly.

      Hi, I purchase annual package and at the time of purchase my vouchers wasn't available yet ( were in process of dowloading with message "your vouchers would be available in 48 hours").       I checked your Wix account and I saw you already claimed the voucher, when yoו purchased the domain name: alexandraonlineboutique.com

      I can see you also purchased the privacy registration, the privacy protection cost 9.90USD but you have been charged only 33.75 USD.

      The one year free domain was deduced from the total bill.

       

      Regarding Google listing, are you referring to your site listed on Google?

      or are you referring to this service?

      We don't provide support for it, (but it may be compatible to use along with a Wix site).

      We will appreciate if you could elaborate on the matter.

    I have my voucher for the free year and have gone through the steps to try to activate it.  However, no matter what I try I can't get it activated.  I scheduled a call with Wix but I have such a full schedule, I would rather resolve it through this feedback or over a weekend.  Is there a phone number where I can just call and speak to a person without scheduling a call?

    Hello,

    I bought a yearly unlimited package, but i don't have the free domain voucher. I do have the facebook and google ads voucher. Can u activate the free domain voucher, since I have a Yearly contract. (The regular way to activate the domain: Manage--> voucher. Doesn't work for the domain)

    So, if I understand you correctly, even with the latest promotion (upgrade to eCommerce), the free domain is only available for the yearly paid version, NOT the monthly paid version?  Is that correct?  If so, that is not made clear and is very deceptive.  What advantages are there for upgrading if one can only afford to pay monthly rather than having the money all up front, especially when starting a business?  If that is the case, I will go elsewhere.

      You are correct, this is a voucher provided as a gift to our yearly plan subscribers and does not apply for monthly plan subscription. 

       

      The advantages of purchasing a premium package, regardless of whether a monthly or a yearly plan are the package features which (in the eCommerce package) include connecting your domain, removing the Wix ads from your site and using the eCommerce feature. You can store up to 20GB with 10GB bandwidth and you get premium support with this package!

       

      There are a number of benefits for purchasing the Ecommerce package:
      *Allows your customers to purchase multiple products.
      *Allows you to keep an up to date inventory.
      *Add discount coupon codes for your customers to enjoy.
      *Offer different product options, like size, color, drop down menu and a message box.
      *Set shipping rules and cost which will determine the amount the customer pays upon the purchase of your products, even if you ship worldwide.

       

      These are advantaged that come along purchasing the package. The one year free domain voucher is simply an extra benefit for the yearly plans (excluding Connect domain package).

      Hi,

       

      After you purchase your Wix Premium yearly package (Combo, Unlimited, eCommerce or FB Unlimited), simply go to "My Account" -> "Manage Premium" -> "Vouchers" and click on the voucher link next to your package under "Free Domain".
