If you cancel your premium plan, your site will return to the free version which includes the Wix ads and the free Wix URL (username.wix.com/sitename).

I have the monthly premium plan and in the question above says that your website will go back to a free domain if you cancel your subscription but I have already paid for a 2 years domain for fundacionluzycolor.com, so if it goes back to www.wix.com/abcjs what happens to my domain?

      Hey Jaime

Note that the premium plan is separate from the domain subscription- if you cancel the premium plan your site would revert to its free URL.

You will be able to connect the domain to another web host if you wish but in order to connect it again to your Wix site you would need to re-upgrade to a premium plan.

I just purchased a premium plan for my site and linked it to a new domain (africaglobalgroup.org) after it refused to reconnect me to my other domain (africaglobalgroup.com), and wanted to manage the settings so that it didn't autorenew my premium plan at the end of the year. According to the instructions on the Support pages it says you should cancel the premium plan, and the premium plan won't be autorenewed in the coming year - a feature that can be toggled with - but after I cancelled the premium plan the system cancelled the existing one instead of not simply cancelling future payments, which is all I wanted to do. I would like to get my site back up, and I need your assistance as soon as possible.

      Thank you for reaching out,

The premium plan was entirely cancelled because you took the action within the 14 days money back guarantee period.

To resolve the problem please purchase a new plan and wait 14 days before canceling the Auto-Renewal.

Let us know if you need additional assistance.

You can re-subscribe your premium plan only if you cancelled after the first 14 days and only when the subscription is not over (if the renewal date has not reached yet)

Simply go to My Sites -> click the user panel on the top right of the page > click Billing & Payments > Manage -> Click onUndo Cancel.

You can find more information about billing here.

Thank you for your reply, I followed your instruction but there is no "undo" button?

If you are not able to undo the cancellation you can simply upgrade again (You will automatically receive a refund for the initial purchase so you don't end up double paying).

I accidentally purchased yearly plan instead of monthly plan. I no longer want it. I haven't even published the website yet. Please advise if I can get a refund.

Please note that unfortunately, once the first 14 days to your account are over, you cannot be refunded for your Premium plan.

Currently it is impossible to downgrade from yearly to monthly. You will have to first cancel your plan and then repurchase a monthly plan.

Each purchase is guaranteed a full refund only within the first 14 days of trial.
For more information about billing, click here.

Apologies. Please let us know in case you need further help.

Hi, I just purchased a premium upgrade and then cancelled the next payment a year from now immediately -- the site is saying it s no longer premium but I have paid for a year? Or will this be refunded as within an hour of setting up?

Do I need to resubmit my payment??

As you cancelled your premium within the 14 day trial period it was automatically cancelled and refunded.

Note that the transaction was cancelled before Wix captured the funds, so the charge you see on your account will drop away within 10 business days.

To reinstate your premium features you just need to upgrade to your site to premium again.

Once the 14 day trial is finished, you just need to cancel your premium and it will expire at the next renewal date.

To cancel your premium upgrade please follow the directions here.

Hi, I have an e-commerce account, however, I´m not selling my products anymore.  I purchased a domain though, so my question is: If I downgrade from e-commerce to the free website and keep my domain, are all the free adds still going to show up on my website? or what will be the difference between someone who purchased a domain, and someone who only has a free website with you?

    • Maya Wix Team

      Hi  gvdinfo,

Using your own domain is a premium service, hence canceling your premium plan will mean that your website will not be available anymore with your domain but will be reachable again through the free URL. The format of the free Wix site URL is username.wix.com/sitename. Wix ads will also display again and the Online Shop will not work, but as I understand you do not need the store any longer.

Please note that we also have other premium options - you can see all our premium plans here. Please check out our current promotions here

I added the eCommerce portion to my account. I wasn't aware that I had to sign up with Pay Pal in order to be able to get the shopping cart to work with my website. I am not interested in signing up with PayPal so if you would remove the charges from my Credit Card for the eCommerce portion and leave my unlimited account intact I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

You do not have to connect your shopping cart to Paypal.

Currently, you can use PayPal, WebMoney, Skrill, Authorize.Net or the Offline Payment option with your Online Store shopping cart. Brazilian users can also use PagSeguro (please note that this payment method is available for Brazil only). After connecting your Online Store to your merchant account, all payments made by your buyers will appear in your merchant account unless you chose the Offline Payment option.
To connect your merchant account to your store, click on Payment & Currency from Manage Store and choose a payment method from the drop-down menu. It is not possible to use a third party merchant.
For information about connecting your Online Store to PayPal, click here.
For information about connecting your Online Store to WebMoney, click here.
For information about connecting your Online Store to Skrill, click here.
For information about connecting your Online Store to Authorize.Net, click here.

      **Great news!**
We have added an offline payment option which enables you to accept payment options other than credit cards (i.e. cash, check, bank transfer, wire transfer, etc.)!
You can find more information about this option here.
