Your premium plan is renewed automatically.


If you signed up for a monthly plan, the contract length is one month and you are automatically billed on a monthly basis.


If you signed up for a yearly plan, you will be charged the full amount, on a yearly basis. Before the year is over, you will receive an Email reminder. As long as you do not cancel the plan, it will be renewed automatically for another year.

Note: Your domain subscription, if applicable, is a separate subscription to your premium plan and will need to be renewed separately.

    I have just made payment for my premium account that expired a couple of days back. Does this automatically reassign my domain name as well? The domain I got as a package with my premium package. If so, how long does it take for the site to be up and running? Thanks

      In general, the domain stays connected to your site as long as your premium plan is valid.


      I see that you have several sites and several plans, however you did not mention which ones you're referring to. Please tell us which is the site in question so that we may further investigate.

      The renewal of your premium plan is separate from the renewal of your domain.

      The first year was free, and this year you have to pay for it.

      I see that an attempt to charge you was unsuccessful.

      Please update your payment details and let us know so that we can charge you.


      To update your payment details:

      1. Next to subscriptions, click Billing and Payment.
      2. Under Domains, next to your domain, click Manage.
      3. Next to Payment Method, click Update Payment Method.
      4. Under Update Billing Details, update your payment details.
      5. Click OK/Submit, then click Done.

      Your payment details are updated.

      This I have updated already which is why the billing for the premium pulled through. Can you let me know how much it is for the domain? thanks

      I am sorry for the inconvenience.

      The payment details for the registry of your domain and premium plan are also separate.

      You have to update both, note that the instructions I gave you are for the domain charges.

      Our current domain prices are:

      One Year: $14.95
      Two Years: $27.90
      Three Years: $38.85

      These prices do not apply to .biz domains.

      Note: The price may differ depending on currency, years selected, privacy, the domain suffix, and the use of a voucher. When going through the purchasing process, you will be able to see the total before finalizing the transaction.

    I was late in paying for my plan. I had to renew it with a different card but for a day my site was taken down. Now I have brought the payment up to date but when I go to my domain it refers me to the wix site still. I thought that if I had renewed the premium package then my domain name would need re-attaching to my wix site but it tells me it is already attached. But still if I go to my domain name www.reggieadams.com it still goes to the wix default page. Will this be brought up to date in a certain time period like within 24 hours or is there something more I need to do?

      I see your domain reggieadams.com is currently not connected to any Wix site.

      If you have a premium plan and own a domain, you can assign a domain name to your Wix site.


      First you will need to add the domain to your account using your preferred method.

      a) Purchase the domain from Wix

      b) Transfer the domain to Wix 

      c) Connect the domain to Wix name servers


      To assign a domain: Sign in to your Wix account > from the menu at the top, hover over Subscriptions > click Domains > next to the relevant domain, click Manage.

      Under Domain Connects To, click Change > select a site > click Save.

    I signed one year premium service and would be expired next month, 

    I tried to make payment to keep premium service, but I could not get where I can.

      Please note that your premium plan is due for renewal on July 28th. Unless you cancel the auto-renewal, you will be charged automatically on this date.

    Unfortunately I have let my subscription lapse and it has been cancelled. I would like to resubscribe. Is this possible and will my website have all it's details still there if I can?

      I can see that your premium plan has been cancelled due to payment issues. In order to reinstate your premium features you just need to upgrade your site again.
      To upgrade your site, please go to My Sites > click Upgrade next to the site that you want to upgrade.
      You can find detailed information about our premium plans here.
      Please note that we never remove/destroy websites.  If you go back from premium to free you’ll simply have your original Web address and Wix ads but you will still have full control of your site.

    I have a yearly premium account and it expired 2 days ago as my credit card declined the payment. I manually payed again (package&domain name) but when i try to connect to my website it is redirected to http://www.wix.com/lphtml/parking?redirectedFor=www.romanza-assos.com/ 

    Could you please tell me what is maybe wrong? it is a business website and i need it to be up as soon as possible!

      Unfortunately yes. The account seems right, but when i try to connect to my website it is redirecting to Wix. What should i do?

    I am concerned that I have not been billed automatically and my domain host is set to expire tomorrow. Your drag-and-drop tools are the best, your customer service I hope is efficient because I can’t get anyone on the phone right now and am in the middle of promoting a huge event. The worse would be for my website to go down. Thank you.

      I can see your premium is already set to automatically renew, your domain however is not a Wix domain so you will need to check with your registrar regarding its renewal.

    Hi. wix,

    I just renewed my account subscription together with the domain, still my premium account website does not appear instead it is still redirected to http://www.wix.com/lphtml/parking?redirectedFor=www.dreamwatertechnology.com/ does that mean i loose my domain it has been almost 24 hrs. still it does not appear. Does my payment lost?

      I have visited your domain and I see it is correctly directed to your Wix site. Your site works perfectly!

      If you are still having trouble viewing your site, please try doing the following:

      1) Go here and click on "Delete all sites". Then clear your browser's cache.

      For step-by-step instructions about how to clear your browser's cache, please follow this link.
      You can also find a video tutorial here.

      2) Try to Flush your DNS. For detailed instructions on how to do so please go here.

      3) Please go to the Windows start menu->click on 'run'-> select the first option: 'Run'-> type: 'ping yourdomain.com'->A window will pop with an IP address. Please run this test from several computers.

      For Mac users: Go to ‘Application’ then open ‘Terminal’ and type: 'ping yourdomain.com'->A window will pop with an IP address. Please run this test from several computers.

      -If you receive an IP address on your computer other than the IP you see here and you see this IP from other computers please contact an IT expert in your area for further troubleshooting.

      -If you receive a different IP than the IP you see here from multiple locations, please send it to us in order for us to check it.

    hello I have a premium account I change my payment options, I mean I change the credit card number it has to be automatically renew today 11 of April 2014 but till now we don't get any info that its paid!!  I don't want to face problem with my web site thanks a lot

    I had a yearly subscription which has just ran out- Trying to upgrade- want same package but on monthly basis but won't let me choose it and now you guys are saying i have 10 days left to renew or i loose my site but i cannot do it-

      Hi Harry,

      The renewal payment is being declined by your credit card provider.

      Please contact your bank to find out the reason for the decline or add an alternate card so that the payment can be processed.

      Alternately, you can unassign your site from the premium via the packages tab in your manage premium, repurchase, and then cancel the old premium (note that this option will result in downtime for your site).

      Yes i know that the card expired during the year- paying isn't the issue. What i want to do is move away from your yearly plan to your monthly plan and i cannot do it- can you please help in doing so
