To upgrade your site: Sign in to your Wix account > click My Sites > next to the relevant site, click Upgrade.

Note: Upgrading your site entitles you to connect your domain, among other premium benefits, which differ from plan to plan.

Upgrading a site does not include upgrading Apps from the Wix App Market. Each App was developed by a different third party company and has its own terms of use.

Wix gives you the opportunity to add Apps to your site, both free and premium. You can choose to use the free version, or to use the additional features included in the upgraded version.
The Apps available in the Wix App Market have many different features, and not all of them require an upgrade. For more information about the Wix App Market, please click here.

    hi there

    I currently have a wix website, and would like to upgrade but on a monthly basis as a trial run. 

    It will not allow me to do this, and will only allow to me upgrade to a monthly on the unlimited.

    Can you help at all please?

      Hey rubixdance, 


      To choose a Monthly agreement, please select a package from the second row in the Upgrade Page:


      If this doesn't work, please let us know what happens when you try selecting a monthly agreement, so we can look into it.

       this dosnt work. it simply wont allow me to click on any monthly plans

      Hey rubixdance, 


      Please go to Wix.com > My Account > Packages > next to your Connect Domain package click Unassign. 

      Then please try purchasing the Monthly package again. 

      If the issue persists, please let us know.

      This now worked and i have updated my details, so that i now pay for a mothyly plan on the unlimited plan. does this plan include a email at all?

      If you want to purchase an email address then you can now purchase personalized emails from Google Apps directly from Wix. Click here for more information.


      I can see from our records that you updated your site on 9/18/2013, please be aware that it can take from 1 to 3 months for Google to update its database and for your site to be indexed. Finding your site using your relevant keywords may take even more time.


      One way to speed up this process is to submit your website directly to search engines. Use the following links to submit your site to:

      - Google

      - Bing


      Wix guarantees that all of the text and meta tags on your site are being scanned by search engines, however we cannot guarantee that Google will choose to assign your website a high rank, this part is up to you.


      Make sure that your websites content has been optimized in accordance with the advice offered in our SEO Learning Center. We also recommend that you use the SEO Wizard & Monitoring tool for a more in depth analysis of your site’s SEO.

      many thanks for this, but my site isnt working at all! Since i upgraded to unlimited, it says that im trying to connect my domain with google! why is my site no longer showing?

    Hi I chose the connect domain package about a week ago as I didn't know what to expect, but I now want to upgrade. Is there any way of upgrading to another package and paying the difference in cost between the two (so you would still get the full amount for the upgrade but I wouldn't have paid for both!)? Thanks

      In order to upgrade to a different package on an already upgraded site, go to "My Account", click "Upgrade your site" next to the relevant site and choose the new package.
      You will receive a partial fee depending on the cost and type of your new package.

    We would like to add eCommerce to our site, but not change the layout of our site.. can we just add an eCommerce page to our current site, with the eCommerce upgrade?

      The Online Store is available now for all users!
      Please note that this is a premium feature and you will have to upgrade to the eCommerce package to use it.

      You can find it in your HTML editor- click on  "Add" -> "Online Store".

    I currently have Unlimited (which was purchased 9 days ago) and was to upgrade to eCommerce.  Will I be charged the full amount or is this prorated?

      Connecting your Online Store to your PayPal account is easy! Once you have connected your Store to PayPal, payments will be made directly into your PayPal account.

      You need a Premier or Business PayPal account. Don't have a PayPal account? Get one here !

      To connect your Wix Store to PayPal:

      1. From the Store Manager, from the top menu, click Payment & Currency.
      2. Next to Method, select PayPal from the drop-down menu.
      3. Next to Account Email, type the email address that you use to sign into your PayPal Account.
      4. Next to Currency, select your currency from the drop-down menu.
      5. Next to Weight, select a unit of measurement from the drop-down menu.

      Your Wix Store is now connected to your PayPal account.

    I am ready to update my Wix website. I have created an online fashion store. What is the difference between the E-Commerce Package and the Unlimited Package. Which one do you recommend?

    When upgrading from one plan to another you will receive a partial fee depending on the cost and type of your new plan.

    Since you have upgraded from combo to ecommerce yearly you were change the difference in price.

    Hi i have a premium account alread ybut i opted for the personal site but didnt realize i need to opt for ecommerce site as i have a webstore. When i went to upgrade my account to the ecommerce it was going to chage me $95 but I had already just paid around this amount for personal option do i now have to pay for double for this? or can you cancel the personal option on my account so i opt for the ecommerce instead?
