    I want items that are not in stock to still show up on my site but say out of stock

    I want items that are not in stock to still show up on my site but say out of stock, But every time I set the stock amount to 0 it takes it off of my page. Please let me know how to do this.

    just signed up and paid for ecommerce....everything is going GREAT untill i realise i cant show out of stock products....then i read 20 pages of requests since years ago and still no fix???

    Why do we have to "vote" for this feature via this thread.

    Again, this OUT OF STOCK feature should be standard with an e-commerce site.

    I 100% agree with all the above comments & confusion as to why the Wix team simply continues to say "we're working on this" ...when apparently, (I think someone stated) this has been requested since 2012.

    The fact that a product disappears ruins the aesthetic of the product pages & hurts business when customers can't see what was being sold.

    I'd rather have this OUT OF STOCK feature than "zoom into products" !!

      We are trying to be as considerate as possible to our customers' needs and requests. New features and improvements are being launched all the time, and this feature as well will arrive.

       

      Obviously, priority is given first to the features which are most requested, and other matters that require our developers' attention, so in this area of our work there's definitely more than meets the eye.

    This is definitely an urgent request. It's so silly that when a product is out of  stock, it completely vanishes from the viewer.

      I'm sorry for the confusion. While we do have the relevant style, we currently don't offer the option to add an "Out of stock" banner.

    15 months to the day since this was first requested. Wix is definitely looking after it's ecommerce package customers. I wonder why they have such a low rating on Trustpilot?

    What's the deal?  And please don't continue saying you're working on things based on priority.

    I would think "out of stock" should/would be an automatic detail to e-commerce sites.

      We're working on this feature and we hope to release it in the near future. We cannot provide any time estimate yet as it is not finished but we can say for sure that it is on the way.

    Is there anyway of showing an item as 'out of stock' on the website? What happens when the item reaches 0? Does it just disappear from the site/searches?

      Indeed, once the item is out of stock, it will be removed from the product gallery page.
