Your Online Store inventory should be updated once a transaction is complete.
 

If the transaction is complete and your inventory has not updated, it is possible that the order status in PayPal is still Pending. An order might be marked by PayPal as Pending for a number of reasons. For example, if the buyer's address was not verified. You should receive an email stating the reason. 

 
To resolve this issue, you can configure your PayPal settings to automatically approve orders from your Online Store. Please contact PayPal for instructions for further instructions on how to do so.

    I am having the same problem with Inventory not updating once a transaction is completed. I had a customer purchase and item today. The PayPal transaction went through and IS NOT pending. The item that they purchased is still showing in inventory.

    Hello,

    I am having problems with my inventory. I received an email that told me the item a customer purchased is an item in size 12/L. The problem is that the size 10/M was removed from my inventory and the size 12/L is still showing as available.  Why is this happening.

      Hi.

      Are you still experiencing this discrepancies? If so, please provide us with a detailed outline of the steps you have taken until this point, so we may replicate the process from our end in finding a solution.
      -Where do you see it on your site, i.e. what page?
      -What component in the editor is causing the problem (i.e. text box)?

      *Please include screen shots, if possible.

      Hi,

      Please make sure that you have enabled your IPN settings in your PayPal account. You can do this by logging into your PayPal account > History > Turn on IPN > Receive IPN messages (Enabled).

      If you don't it'll ask you for a URL - just add any (like google.com), as we override the URL anyway.

    Hi,

    I am having the same problem with my inventory not changing when a purchase is made and the item still shows up on the website! Please see my ticket 405962685

    So today 30 june, my husband made a test purchase of two items : Vintage faux coral earrings c1950's £18.00 and Vintage scarf c1970's £12.00.

    Manage inventory was checked and 1 in stock for both.  They both still show in stock from the admin end and the out of stock hasn't updated.  Both are still showing live on the site.

    The adress is confirmed in Paypal and the transaction is completed and the money is in the account.  Paypal say all my settings are correct and nothing has changed since I crossed over from my MrSite website which was updating stock no problem.

      Hi Carol,

       

      Thank you for contacting Wix support. 

      Did your husband's test transaction go through? Please make sure the order status is not 'Pending' as is advised in the Best Reply for this thread. 

      Please also make sure to set your PayPal to automatically approve orders.

    I am still having this problem. My customers are "confirmed" but yet, the website is not keeping up with the inventory.

      Can you please make sure you have received the money in your account, and the money is not pending,

      If the money is in your account and it is not pending, please can you let us know the items which where purchased and the transaction dates and if possible the times.
