Your Online Store inventory should be updated once a transaction is complete.
 

If the transaction is complete and your inventory has not updated, it is possible that the order status in PayPal is still Pending. An order might be marked by PayPal as Pending for a number of reasons. For example, if the buyer's address was not verified. You should receive an email stating the reason. 

 
To resolve this issue, you can configure your PayPal settings to automatically approve orders from your Online Store. Please contact PayPal for instructions for further instructions on how to do so.

    I have been so frustrated working with you guys.  I had an inventory problem a month ago and you said it was due to paypal.  I went back and configured my paypal and I am still having the same issues.  I now have 15 orders that can't be filled because I have no product.  My website isn't pulling inventory and I am now tempted to look for a new host.  I can't put up with this anymore and it looks like this is a common problem with your customers.  This is a HUGE defect and needs to be solved ASAP!  Thank you.

      Hi  ragstoraches,

      Thank you for contacting us, I am very sorry for the inconvenience.

       

      As mentioned in the best reply, usually when the inventory is not updating it has to do with the order status on PayPals end, and this is why we gave you that answer last time. 

      I would like to take a closer look at your case. Please provide us with the items names that their inventory is not updated aromatically so we can further check. 

       

      Again we apologize for the inconvenience, I can imagine the bother this is causing.

    Inventory issues

    My inventory is not being pulled.  It seems to not pull from new items?  Paypal is verified so I have no idea why it isn't pulling.  It has caused a HUGE problem.  Please help.

      Hi,

      As stated in the best reply, the solution is to configure PayPal to automatically approve orders. Please contact PayPal for instructions in this case.

    I am having the same problem regarding orders not showing up on my website or the item coming off when it's sold. The only notification I get is an email from Paypal saying I have been paid.

    I have to manually delete the item from my shop, which I don't think I should have to do.

    Please help?

      I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties.

       

      Regarding your inventory not updating, does it happen with specific items? If so please let us know which ones so we can further investigate.

       

      To resolve any outstanding orders that are missing from WIX' Store Manager Order Service, please check out this link to learn how to resend IPN messages.

      If the issue persists, please provide us with a screenshot of your PayPal history and also elaborate about all the orders that were not updated so we can further investigate it on our end. 

      To get this, please login to your PayPal account  > history > then from the list, click on details for the transaction that is not showing > this will take you to the transaction page - we need to see a copy of the whole page.

    Hello, 

    Just one product of my 20 will not allow any changes to be made to it, when all others are fine. It just happens to be the product I need to sell the most of too.  It tells me to contact support every time a variable is manipulated in the manage store window. It forced me to shut down my store since june and because you have no phone number or email support it has not been fixed regardless of my hours of searching and numerous attempts.

      What is the product name? under what collection? 

      Please provide us with a detailed description of the steps that you have taken so far so that we can replicate the process on our end and assist in finding a solution.

    Hello,

     

    All images in my product gallery are not displaying.  I have confirmed that the inventory is not set to 0, as well as, the product being displayable online...& I've added prices for a few.  However, they are still not displaying.  Please advise.

    If you see those counts under inventory then they are all correct. When I was looking at them they weren't accurate. Can you also confirm Tribal Rainbow should be 9 in stock. I will resend you the IPN.

    Ok I have turned on the IPN in paypal as was suggested by the wix team. Now what do I do?  Another purchase was made on my website yesterday and the inventory is not reflective of it. Items were, Vintage Lace, Raging Caramel, C-Tan, Striped Topaz

      I have just viewed your product list and can see

      Raging Caramel is showing as 0

      Vintage Lace is showing as 1

      C-Tan, is showing 2

      and striped Topaz is showing 4

      These are showing in the orders manager

       

      Can you please re send the IPN

    Hi 

    I am having the same issue with my inventory. A customer just ordered some items from my website, and it didn't reduce the inventory count. I have checked my paypal account and the order status shows completed. So can you please check what is happening here. The specific items are called 'Raging Caramel' and 'Tribal Rainbow'. Thanks!

      Hey

       

      Can you please make sure that you have turned on the IPN settings in your paypal account.

      Go to your paypal account > history > IPN settings > turn on IPN, > clink enable IPN

      You maybe asked to write something in the URL field. You can use any URL (e.g., http://google.com) since we override it when we report PayPal of the purchase.

    WIX,

    I am facing the same issue.  Regardless if the the order has been fully processed the inventory is still showing up available.  This only changes/refreshes when I Manage Store then back out to my page to go back to my selling page.  Only then will that items inventory qty change to 0.  Please advise because the items that we sell are one of a kind pieces and we do not want to frustrate our customers with false advertising.

    Hi,

    I sold 5 items yesterday...2 on one order, 2 on another order and 1 on a single order.  None of these items have gone offline or show in my out of stock list even though there was only 1 of each item.

    This has happened before and I know all my Paypal settings are correct etc so it is definately a blip on Wix...please update my site

      Hi,

      The 5 items are :

      Vintage Egyptian revival solid silver bracelet £95.00 : Art Deco Neiger Egyptian scarab necklace £78.00 : Pretty 1920's clear crystal necklace £55.00 : 1920's silver marcasite lapel/stock pin £33.00 and 1920's Foiled glass silver lapel pin by TLM £25.00.

      All of these are still showing on the site even when I have cleared cache.  The out of stock list figure keeps changing.  Sometimes it shows the crystal necklace and marcasite stock pin out of stock but at the moment it is showing none of these as out of stock....Alarmingly I have just realised they are all showing in stock in their collection so I am going to change the stock level manually as I don't want to sell something I can't provide!

      Hope you can fix this quickly as it looks odd to customers who are buying one off items and is a worry for me to keep checking etc!

      I am not sure which link you are referring to with regards to the email.

       

      If you can please also supply us with the order number you have been given from PayPal that would help us search for the transactions,  along with a screen shot of the history page in PayPal,
