You can manage your orders from the Orders tab of the Wix Store Manager. This tab shows you a list of all of your orders.

 

To access the Orders tab: Click your Product Gallery to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Manage Store > select the Orders tab.

 

Note: You can also see your latest orders from your site's dashboard without having to open the Editor!

 

You can find more information about the Orders tab of the Wix Online Store here.

Note: It is not currently possible to receive email notifications when an order is placed in your Online Store, but this is certainly a feature that we are working on. You can vote for this feature in this thread.

    How do you cancel an order and process a return?

      Unfortunately it's not possible to cancel an order, since orders are generated upon the customers completion of the payment process.

      Having received payment, it's not possible to cancel the order.

    If I had known that I could NOT get an email or some kind of invoice stating that an order had been completed on this site, I WOULD NEVER HAVE JOINED!!!!!  What kind of bookkeeping methods is a business supposed to use, if you can't even generate an invoice for the customer?!?  After reading through the comments in this section, I am furious!  I have payments coming into my business Paypal account from multiple sites, and hundreds of transactions per week... What the heck am I supposed to do, log in and click through the ten links required to look at my open orders tab and see if I have anything pending every single day???  This is not just a 'wish list' item, this is a major operating FLAW and it should be at the top of your list to fix!

      Hey jblaich, 

       

      You can set up your PayPal account to send you notification emails when a customer makes a purchase.

      To receive notification emails from PayPal:

      1. Log into your PayPal account at https://www.paypal.com
      2. Under the My Account tab, click Profile.
      3. In the Account Information column, click Notifications.
      4. On the Notifications page, under Payment Notification, checkmark the box next to I receive PayPal Website Payments and Instant Purchase.

      Your account is set up to receive notification emails.

      Yes, I understand all that.  I get 50 of these email notifications from PayPal every day.  The problem is that these emails from PayPal do not state where the order originated from.  Did it come from my personal website on Wix? did it come from my ETSY shop? did it come from EBAY? Is it even the correct order?  Who knows!!!  I don't even look at these PayPal emails anymore... No business does their books by simply relying on the information that the bank gives them!!!  That is foolish and not good business!  PayPal is a merchant services company, and it is not prudent to rely only on their reporting to determine my sales figures for my company.  The fact that there is ZERO back end reporting, accounting or invoicing capabilities with this website is ridiculous!!! I guess when something seems too good to be true, it probably is...

      When someone makes an order from your site and its showing as completed in PayPal then the order information will then show in the orders tab in your store manager,

      We are also launching the email feature soon, so that when someone does place an order on your site, you will receive an automatic email, but I cannot give you an exact release date as yet.

    Hi 

     

    The PayPal notification guide that is above seems to have changed on PayPal. Its say to put your Notification URL, Would this the website address that is linked with paypal? This is in the IPN section

    What if you have more than one Online stores leading to one PP account how will that work?

      In order to receive notifications from paypal please follow these instructions:

      1. Log into your PayPal account at https://www.paypal.com

    Hi I would like to be able to get a excel or other document that provides me with a complete list of all orders and theere details, so that I can better manage my purchasing....when I run a pre-order campaign I need to be able to order product based on size,color, etc.  however to have to go onto every order to see the details, then track this on a seperate sheet I have to create would be extremely frustrating.  Foes Wix's e-commerce store provide that kind of report? If not nd I find aa third party app that does, do I still have to pay for a premium upgrae with you...and their monthly costs both...even though your store does not provide the service I need? Please answer both questions, thank you.

    Any way to jump to this quicker? I check orders on a daily basis, and it seems kind of clunky to have to go through the steps suggested: "log into your wix account and then click manage and edit the site you where you store is  > on the bottom left you will see online store, click on this and this will take you directly to the store manager"

    Also, is there anyway to disable the pop-up 'how to create your online store' video that appears each time?

      Unfortunately it isn't possible to view the store management anywhere out of the edior at this time.

      Regarding the video - it should only pop up the first time you're using the store, Please clear your browser's cache. You can find step by step instructions here.

    Wix really should implement an orders notification email ASAP! 

    I already have PayPal set up to receive notifications, but there is not email from Wix about the order.

     

    This is bad because I am using the coupon feature, but Wix does not communicate the coupon to PayPal, so when I get the notification there appears to be no coupon. THIS IS BAD!!!

     

    Please fix ASAP!

    My orders - sale receipt numbers are skipping. it started with 3 then jumped to 6. From 7 it jumped to 19. What happened to 1&2 and 8-18??  Are there sales I'm not seeing - this would be very bad for my business if I cannot fulfill requests because of this. Please advise.

      Hi,

      Thank you for contacting Wix support.

      Unfortunately it is not possible to edit these numbers.

      These sales numbers are generated automatically by our system and do not reflect the number of sales in your store.

      This is normal behavior and is no cause for alarm.

      when you get a number in your order manager, and then there is a jump this means that someone has added items to a cart, but not made a purchase, this is why the numbers are out of sequence,

    hi there! I have a question that's not listed on your FAQ. 

    I will be selling restaurant vouchers and other merchant packages (mainly coffee shops, and restaurant dinners)... When a package is sold, will I be billed? or can my merchant receive the payment directly? if so, can I add a 5% kickback?

    I would really appreciate a response, as this issue is making me loose sleep. Help please?

      Hi,

      The only person that should be billed is the customer that is purchasing the product.

      Whatever Paypal account you set up with your store will be the recipient of the payment, so you can set up your own Paypal or the merchant's Paypal. Please note that you can only set one Paypal account.

    Can you please send me a lin to log directly into my WIXSTORE magaer so I don't have to load all the website first when I want to quickly change a products. it is soing us down way to much

      Hey

       

      At the moment the quickest way to get to your store manager is to login to your wix.com account, then click manage and edit the site you where you store is  > on the bottom left you will see online store, click on this and this will take you directly to the store manager

    Hi wix,

    I just missed 2 orders because paypal did not send me notification. Only way I found out is that customers emailed me... I double checked and searched through old emails ... no notifications were received.

    Note: I did get a notification on a previous order. All of the sudden I am not being notified anymore. I did check the setting in paypal. And there is a check mark next to "I receive PayPal Website Payments and Instant Purchase"

    I am wondering:

    1. is there a quick link/ short cut I can access the Orders page on wix? right now I have to click through so many things just to get to it...

    (would be nice if there are direct links to store order on the page where you log in)

     

    2. anyway to setup a notification from wix about new orders?

      Hi,

      Unfortunately both of your request aren't available currently. We're looking to improve the content management and this may be possible in the future, I recommend you contact Paypal - they may be able to improve it. At the moment we're not providing the checkout, which is why it isn't optimal to send emails through wix any way. (only complete order show up in the orders page).
