You can use Authorize.net or PayPal to accept direct credit card payments!

1. Authorize.netAccepts all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express in your Wix Store.

2. Paypal.com: You can set up your shopping cart to accept direct credit cards payments from users without prompting them to sign into their PayPal account. The user would still be directed to a PayPal page, however, they would not be prompted to sign in.

Note: The ability to allow customers to pay via PayPal through Guest Checkout is determined by your local PayPal organization. For some countries, the customer will be required to create a PayPal account before they will be able to pay. For more information, click here.

To set up your Online Store payment options: Click your Product Gallery to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Manage Store > select the Payment & Currency tab.

Under Payment Method, click the drop down menu to select a method > enter the required information > click Save.

Note: Make sure that the Paypal Account Optional feature is turned on in your Paypal account. To learn more, please click here or contact Paypal directly.

Note: In order to use PayPal as the merchant account for your online store, you will need to have a Business or Premier PayPal account.

    Hi

I created my web site and i have only one product.....

I added Paypal buy now bottom , now i need somehow to connect my Paypal account with my web site so i could receive payments from my customers how i could do that?

do i need to upgrade it to premium eCommerce?

Will that page identify them as my customer?  and credit the payments to my Paypal business/premier account?

      Hey nicolaegaz

you do not need to upgrade to premium in order to use the Paypal button.

If the email you've entered in the button's setting is your Paypal email then you should not have a problem receiving payments.

One note: I've noticed that in the button's settings you've only entered a price- if you'd like to recognize purchases it would help if you also enter the item name.

And of course make sure you publish the site (open editor and click publish).

      Hi,

Unfortunately, I don't fully understand your query.

      Have you followd this directions:

To allow your customers to pay directly with a credit card:

      1. Log into your PayPal account at www.paypal.com
      2. Click the Profile subtab.
      3. Under Selling Preferences (rightmost column), click Payment Receiving Preferences.
      4. Under PayPal Account Optional, click the radio button On.
      5. Click Save.

Your PayPal account is now set up for direct credit card payments from your customers.

If you are referring to check your store online, you will need first to upgrade your site to the ecommrce premium package as Wix shopping cart is a premium feature.

You can review all the upgrade plans here

      Thank you,

      Dina.

    Hey khaliljohnson75

You can also connect your Wix Store to Google Checkout (also known as Google Wallet):

    1. From the Store Manager, from the top menu, click Store Settings.
    2. Under Payment, next to Method, click the drop-down menu and choose Google Checkout.
    3. Next to Merchant ID, type your merchant ID.
    4. Next to Merchant Key, type your merchant key.
    5. Next to Currency, select your currency from the drop-down menu.
    6. Next to Weight, select a unit of measurement from the drop-down menu.
    7. Click Done.

Your Online Store is now connected to your Google Checkout account.

You will have to enable your Google Checkout Merchant account to work with Wix. To do so, click here to sign into your Google Checkout account and uncheck My company will only post digitally signed carts.

I'm trying to understand how to support credit card payments - visa & mastercard.

So, users will be taken to a paypal page but don't need to login to their account. Is a paypal account required for all users even if they wish to pay with their credit card directly? Will they still be able to pay with their credit cards if they don't have a paypal account ?

Will that page identify them as my customer?  and credit the payments to my paypal business/premier account?

    Thanks.

    Hi  fpparadise,

The payments are made and coordinated on the save servers of PayPal and are connected to your PayPal account. This is why the settings related to the payment procedure are located in your PayPal account. Please contact PayPal to clarify this question.

    Thanks,

    Hi egreinhalter,

While you can only connect your shopping cart to PayPal or Google Checkout, your clients are not required to have an account -- they will be able to pay with their credit card directly.

    Thanks,

Does Wix have plans to allow customers to pay directly with credit card? This is what`s holding me back from actually launching my website with you.
