You can use Authorize.net or PayPal to accept direct credit card payments!

1. Authorize.netAccepts all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express in your Wix Store.

2. Paypal.com: You can set up your shopping cart to accept direct credit cards payments from users without prompting them to sign into their PayPal account. The user would still be directed to a PayPal page, however, they would not be prompted to sign in.

Note: The ability to allow customers to pay via PayPal through Guest Checkout is determined by your local PayPal organization. For some countries, the customer will be required to create a PayPal account before they will be able to pay. For more information, click here.

To set up your Online Store payment options: Click your Product Gallery to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Manage Store > select the Payment & Currency tab.

Under Payment Method, click the drop down menu to select a method > enter the required information > click Save.

Note: Make sure that the Paypal Account Optional feature is turned on in your Paypal account. To learn more, please click here or contact Paypal directly.

Note: In order to use PayPal as the merchant account for your online store, you will need to have a Business or Premier PayPal account.
For more information please click here.

    Hi Shauna,

In my Paypal  business account, there is no "Selling Preferences" under the profile button.

How come with the paypal button on Wix you can only order one item at one price? I sell research time and charge so much per hour. A person is to select how much time they want to purchase. However, your button only allows for one product at one price. This was a surprise. Even on my free blogger account I can use a paypal button with various options.

      Hey  Kim

The reason you're not seeing a "Selling Preferences" option might be related to the account type you have with PayPal, you might need a merchant account.

Please check this out with PayPals support here.

Currently y ou can’t adjust the number of items purchased with a PayPal button. Instead you can use several PayPal buttons for a number of different purchases, or you can use the Online Store.  To find out more about using our Online Store, please check out this  link .

This should be an automatic process once you have updated all your details in PayPal

I have just testsed your site and was able to pay via credit card, but I can see where the confusion is.

Please remove the buy now button feature that you have added in the check out section as this is not meant to be used with the online store.

When you get to the cart, click on the check out button and you will the order information and the option to either login in with paypal or pay via Credit card.

I don't see selling preference tab, trying to set up something so individuals do NOT have to use pay pal but can still be processed through their system.

It is true that you would have to upgrade your account to receive direct credit card payments with a cost of $5 per month.  That is a low cost compared to other shopping card companies.  It is an expense for your business accounting.

      Hi designsrbg

In order to connect our eCommerce online store that would accept direct credit card payments, you would have to upgrade to our eCommerce premium package.

eCommerce ($19.90/month) or for the yearly package $194:
This package includes connecting your domain, removing the Wix ads from your site and using the eCommerce feature. You can store up to 2.5 GB with 5 GB bandwidth.

You'll find all the details (features, prices…) here.

For the Wix Premium Learning Center, click here.

You can also use the following coupons to receive a discount on the yearly eCommerce premium package!

      Hey shootoffcrafts

You can choose between "buy now" or "donations" in the PayPal settings.

If you only want to show the credit card logos you can always add a box that will cove the "buy now" and add your own text to the box.

Please don't hesitate to contact us for more information.

Hi i know about the buy it now or donate buttons so are you saying wix does not have a paypal logo button with the credit card logo on it aswell seems a bit naff as surely it makes sense when you have a shopping cart to have something that shows how you can pay instead of waiting for the surprise button at the end if i leave the buy it now button my customers might get a bit confused as how to pay and why i have a shopping cart aswell ?????

I'm not sure i understand what it is you're looking for.

Are you looking for the credit card logos? The solution i've offered you in my last post works just fine but you can also find images of them here and simply upload them.

Please elaborate on the subject so that we can better understand and help you.
