You can use Authorize.net or PayPal to accept direct credit card payments!
 

1. Authorize.netAccepts all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express in your Wix Store.
 

2. Paypal.com: You can set up your shopping cart to accept direct credit cards payments from users without prompting them to sign into their PayPal account. The user would still be directed to a PayPal page, however, they would not be prompted to sign in.

 

Note: The ability to allow customers to pay via PayPal through Guest Checkout is determined by your local PayPal organization. For some countries, the customer will be required to create a PayPal account before they will be able to pay. For more information, click here.

 

To set up your Online Store payment options: Click your Product Gallery to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Manage Store > select the Payment & Currency tab.

Under Payment Method, click the drop down menu to select a method > enter the required information > click Save.

 

Note: Make sure that the Paypal Account Optional feature is turned on in your Paypal account. To learn more, please click here or contact Paypal directly.
 

Note: In order to use PayPal as the merchant account for your online store, you will need to have a Business or Premier PayPal account.

    I've seen live WIX sites online ordering where when a person checks out and pays for the product, it transfers over to Paypal's checkout. I do not want this. That is why I purchased PayPal's Payments Pro, to have the transaction be seamless- the billing and shipping details, and credit card information is handled on the WIX site, and the payment processing is handled behind the scenes at PayPal.

    Is this supported by WIX's online store, or does it simply bounce over to PayPal's ordering page?

    Hi, I tried to set up a store and everything worked out OK but I got an error message, "This store is temporary unavailable. Please visit us again soon. (WOS2034). What does this mean?

      Hey aspireasia,

       

      Please be aware that in order to use our eCommerce features such as the shopping cart and store, you will have to upgrade to our eCommerce premium package.  
      Currently, you are using our Combo package.  

      In order to do so, you will simply need to re-upgrade your document. Please go to "My Account" -> roll over the document you want to upgrade -> click on "Upgrade".  

      You can find all the information regarding the premium packages  here  

      You will only be charged for the difference in prices between the packages.

    ddgoldsport - have put the button on the basket/checkout page.....but it doest pull the amount through...........

      Please remove the paypal button- the store does not communicate with it.

      The button that leads to the Paypal payment page is the checkout button.

      I've just tried your store- added item, went to cart and checked out- and it took me perfectly well to the Paypal payment page.

      Make sure you try it in the live site, not in the preview mode.

    Hey - i have followed instructions to date and successfully have the pay now button that goes straight through to paypal for credit card payment without a pay pal account but the amount isnt being loaded.....

    can you walk me through how to make sure the basket total at checkout is fed through to the paypal HTML code that i cut and past into the site using wigits?

    Hi Support Team,

    There is one point that I need to get clear, although i tried to understand it by checking the Ecommerce website features  or the tutorial video. Does the store supports payment on delivery instead of connecting to a merchant account? It is very important for our market, as the penetration of credit cards is very low and this feature is a must.

      Unfortunately this isn't possible at the moment.

      What you can do is create a contact form where your customers will be able to send you a list of the products they desire and you'll contact them and arrange to meet.

      Hi,

      Please note:  Wix professional shopping cart is a premium feature therefor in order to activate the shopping cart you will need to upgrade your site to the  Ecommerce premium package.

    Hello Support,

    I have an eCommerce site and the Check Out button do not go to www.paypal.com website. When select the Check Out button it just refresh the same screen (the check out screen). My payment and Currency Tab is set for PayPal with my PayPal email (which is correct). This feature use to work, but it is not working today. Technical my website is down and I'm not able to make money. There have been no changes made on my part. I need this feature to work ASAP!

      I have just tested your online store, added a product to the cart (a men's "eighty eight dress shirt"), entered the cart and clicked on checkout and was redirected to Paypal.

      Have you made any changes in the browser you use or your internet connection?

      Please clear your browser's cache.  You can find step by step instructions here .

      If this issue persists and it also happens on other computers, please let us know and we will investigate this issue further.

    How do I get a ZAR currency to display next to the products, since most custmers are from South Africa

      Currently Wix eCommerce supports all currencies PayPal supports. This includes: US Dollars, Euros, Pounds Sterling (British Pounds), Australian Dollars and Canadian Dollars.
