You can use Authorize.net or PayPal to accept direct credit card payments!

1. Authorize.netAccepts all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express in your Wix Store.

2. Paypal.com: You can set up your shopping cart to accept direct credit cards payments from users without prompting them to sign into their PayPal account. The user would still be directed to a PayPal page, however, they would not be prompted to sign in.

Note: The ability to allow customers to pay via PayPal through Guest Checkout is determined by your local PayPal organization. For some countries, the customer will be required to create a PayPal account before they will be able to pay. For more information, click here.

To set up your Online Store payment options: Click your Product Gallery to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Manage Store > select the Payment & Currency tab.

Under Payment Method, click the drop down menu to select a method > enter the required information > click Save.

Note: Make sure that the Paypal Account Optional feature is turned on in your Paypal account. To learn more, please click here or contact Paypal directly.

Note: In order to use PayPal as the merchant account for your online store, you will need to have a Business or Premier PayPal account.
For more information please click here.

    Payments for purchases

I want my customers to pay via visa debit or credit card not just paypal as this will limit my buyers. How do I add more options?

      Hi Katrina,

Currently, you can use PayPal, WebMoney, Skrill, Authorize.Net or the Offline Payment option with your Online Store shopping cart. Brazilian users can also use PagSeguro (please note that this payment method is available for Brazil only). After connecting your Online Store to your merchant account, all payments made by your buyers will appear in your merchant account unless you chose the Offline Payment option.

To connect your merchant account to your store, click on Payment & Currency from Manage Store and choose a payment method from the drop-down menu. It is not possible to use a third party merchant.

For information about connecting your Online Store to Authorize.Net, click here.

      **Great news!**
We have added an offline payment option which enables you to accept payment options other than credit cards (i.e. cash, check, bank transfer, wire transfer, etc.)!
You can find more information about this option here.

PayPal does not allow customers to use their credit card without prompting them to create a paypal account. I have tried it with someone's wix online store, after I clicked to pay, I have been directed to the paypal website and I had two options. "Pay with my paypal account" and "Create a paypal account", as you can check from the screenshot below.

    So annoying.

I cannot use "Authorize.net" either, since it does not assist my country (Turkey).

Any suggestions for me to create an online store which supports paying with credit cards?

    Thanks!

      Hi,

We have added an offline payment option to the Wix Online Store, please see if any of these payment options are relevant to your requirements.

Offline payments enable you to accept payment options other than credit cards (i.e. cash, check, bank transfer, wire transfer, etc.). When a customer places an order from your online store, you will receive an email containing the order information and their contact details. Contact them to finalize the order and arrange the method of payment.

You can find step by step instructions here.

If you require any further assistance, feel free to contact us again.

Your online store customers do not need to have a PayPal account in order for them to make a payment of their purchase.
On the other hand, you, a store owner, must open a premium/business account with PayPal in order to receive payments via your store.

    Hello,

I am a PayPal business user and have successfully linked my checkout feature to my merchant account. My question is how can I setup my website so customers are NOT redirected to PayPal but instead are able to fill out all information on my site which is then submitted to PayPal. I currently have a wordpress site that works fine like this using my PayPal business account but really like the ecommerce site I created here on Wix. Hoping this feature is available, as I am a month to month user and will most likely cancel for next month if this is not possible.

    Thanks!

I want my customers to be able to buy with credit and debit cards without having to log in to paypal nor create an account. Do tell me to look at the best reply because there you can't find the answer.

I have a paypal, and its all set up, but when prompt to pay, you don't get the option to pay with card, you have to log in to paypal.

Could you please tell how I make it available?!

    My website is www.yovogue.co.uk

    Thanks in advance!

      Hello,

Please note you need a Premier or Business PayPal account, in order to offer payments directly by credit card. Get one here!

To connect your Wix Store to PayPal:

      1. From the Wix Editor, click your product gallery to select it.
      2. From the Product Gallery property panel on the right of the Editor, click Manage Store.
      3. From the Store Manager, from the top menu, click Payment & Currency.
      4. Under Method, select PayPal from the drop-down menu.

Paypal.com: You can set up your shopping cart to accept direct credit cards payments from users without prompting them to sign into their PayPal account. Your answer pretty much says "We have no idea what's going on with your store, so I will copy and paste the instructions we know he already read".

A good customer support would at least pretend they were doing something about it.

Have you at least checked my checkout to see what's going on there?!

Well, the situation is very very simple, I either find the solution for this matter or I'm merging my website to SHOPIFY!

      Thanks for your attention!

      Hi

As mentioned in the previous post, Wix does not control the type of options that get offered from PayPal, once you leave the Wix site,

As the moment, to be able to have users pay via credit card you can use PayPal or authorize.net,

PayPal will take your customer through to the PayPal and not keep them in the store,

We have tried your site and can see that once you get to paypal you are not offered the credit card option, which is out of Wix's control.

I am sorry for the confusion again, but can you please contact PayPal regarding this and let us know how it goes.

This is what I got from Paypal!

I checked your website (www.yovogue.co.uk), and the funds you are receiving on your PayPal account, and it appears that your have a "3rd party shopping cart" button on your website, but funds are being processed through PayPal as "Express checkout."

When using an "Express checkout." feature via PayPal, your customer must log in or create a PayPal account to make a payment, thus from the word itself as "Express checkout."

This 'possible 'explains on why your customer does not have an option to buy from your website using only their card as a Guest.

To allow a card funded payment (without logging in on PayPal) from your customers, please change your PayPal payment solution from your website from "Express checkout" to "PayPal website payment standard as a Shopping cart button."

You can advise your web developer to update the payment solution on your website.

Then, here is how you can create a "Shopping cart button" and integrate on your website:

Go to www.paypal.com.au and log in to your account.
Click 'Profile' near the top of the page.
      Click 'My selling tools.'
      Click 'Update' beside 'PayPal buttons.'
Click 'Create new button' under 'Related Items.'
Select 'Shopping Cart' for the button type.
Customise your button and click 'Create Button.'
Click 'Select Code,' and copy and paste the button code into your HTML code.
You should create a separate 'Add to Cart' button for each item you're selling on your website.

      Any suggestion from you guys???

      Hi,

I’ve noticed that this site is embedded. Wix does not offer support for users who embed Wix material into external sites.
In order to receive proper support we ask you to correctly connect your domain to the Wix servers as this would guarantee the integrity of your site’s design and layout.

In addition, please bear in mind that Google Analytics and search engine crawlers can only work properly with your site when your domain is correctly connected to our servers.

For more information on connecting your domain to your Wix site, check out our help page.
