To change your Online Store currency: Click your Product Gallery to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Manage Store > select the Payment & Currency tab > under Currency, click the drop down menu to select a currency.

Note: The Wix Online Store works with several different payment gateways (PayPal, WebMoney, Skrill, or Authorize.Net). Each payment gateway offers different currency options. You will be able to see the available options for a specific payment gateway once you've selected it on the Payment & Currency tab.

We have also recently added the Offline Payment option which allows you to choose from 134 currencies!

For more information about adding a payment method, click here.

Thanks, Nicole,

      Hey Michelle

Unfortunately it's currently not possible to set up the eCommerce Online Store in African Rands, because our payment processor PayPal does not support it for merchant accounts. For a list of supported currencies for PayPal merchants, please click here.

In the future, we might add additional payment options for our eCommerce users.
You can keep up to date with what features are Coming Soon here.
You can also suggest and vote for new features here on the Wix Wishlist.

You can use the Shopify app. Shopify allows you to offer customers four checkout options at any one time: PayPal, Google Checkout, Credit Card Payment Gateway, and Custom Payment Option.

You can find more information here.

If you have any further questions please contact Shopify directly:

You can also try to add an external shopping cart with our HTML app.
You can find all the information here.
Important: If you are using the HTML to make a direct profit, you must upgrade to at least a Combo package in our Premium upgrades.
Please also note that we do not provide support for 3rd party eCommerce solutions at the moment.

I also have the problem of only USD showing on my online store when added - tried following the "Manage Store" instructions but only USD is on the dropdown list. Even tried scrolling up as described by previous poster.

No Luck! Is there an error with the store currently? I require GBP, surely they should be on the dropdown list?

checked again this morning and the store is still only allowing me to choose $USD. Paypal is also the only option showing on the payment methods (if that helps?)

I have covered up the dollar amount with a Paypal button but would prefer a working store if possible?

      thanks

      Hi seadoh!

I assume you have deleted product gallery because I wasn't able to locate it on your site. Could you please add it again so that we could check the issue.

      We apologize for the inconvenience.

I've tested your store on a number of updated browsers and computers, on all of them I was able to view addition currencies and payment methods.

While browsing on the web, your computer and browser stores various information. This build up of information can sometimes cause conflict.

Please clear your browser's cache. You can find step by step instructions here.

Please make sure to test this on other updated browsers. Let us know how it went and which browsers and exact versions you've tested.

Should the problem persist, please provide us with a screenshot of the available currencies in the drop down menu.

    Hi Wix team.

I'm selling products in Australia and so i need to use AUD currency.

However the only option on the dropdown list for currency is USD.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

Thank you both for responding to my question.

However neither of you have actually answered the question.

I managed to find that the issue was a Graphical error in the GUI of the settings page.

It was only showing One item on the dropdown list instead of the entire list so i had to continually scroll up with the Up button on my keyboard until it had Australian Dollar selected.

I've attached a screenshot so you can actually see what i mean.

      Thanks Anyway.

    Hi ade940,

Wix now offers some multi-lingual templates, feel free to use them:

They are set up with English as the primary language and Spanish or Portuguese as the secondary language but you can change this manually. Please note that this is an advanced feature. If you wish to manually make a multi-lingual website of your own please watch this how-to video:

You can also follow the steps provided here.

    Currencies

Hi, I need to be able to offer my products using South African Rands. Is there anyway that I can do this? My base is South Africa and to offer product in US Dollars or any other currency is not ideal.

Am I able to use a local payment gateway?

    Thanks

      That is currently not possible.

Add Currency Converter to your site to allow your clients to easily convert your pricing into their local currency. Click here for more information.

@raul-ariciu, at the moment PayPal does not support the currency RON. You can find a full list of PayPal support currencies here.

This is something outside of our control. You can add a currency converter tool to your site to make it easy for your customers to find the final price in RON.

Hi,We were unable to change currency into  RON which is a very big issue because we are starting to sell our products in Romania and our country doesn't have euro as a currency yet, only RON.

We only want that the currency icon to be change in RON. We won't be using PAY PAL as a payment method because we found another way more suitable for our clients purchasing habits.

We really need your help, understanding and support on this.
