Offline payments enable you to accept payment options other than credit cards (i.e. cash, check, bank transfer, wire transfer, etc.). When a customer places an order from your online store, you will receive an email containing the order information and their contact details. Contact them to finalize the order and arrange the method of payment.
 

To select the Offline Payments method: Click the Product Gallery to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Manage Store > click the Payment & Currency tab.

Under Payment Method, select Offline Payment > fill in the relevant information > click Save.

    WIX team,

    Can you advise a time when this window can be changed? I would need to rewrite theset texts to my language. I don't need language settings just to rewrite them. Please reply asap, I would need a time

      We document and learn from every feature request and bug brought to our attention. These objectives are immediately high priority milestones in Wix's product road map.

       

      Features are built in order of priority. Priority is based on the popularity of our Wishlist items.

    Is there an option for in-store pick through a wix merchant site?

    Is there an option for in-store pick through a wix merchant site?

    I have physical location for my business and I am setting up an online store. I am trying to figure out how to add an in-store pickup option as well as a shipping option. How can I accomplish that with wix?

      Hi,
      You can have an option for in-store pick up by using Offline Payment option.
      You will receive an email notification with your customer's information as well as purchase details. Then you can contact your customer and discuss further details such as pick up method, shipping options, etc.

    Thank you Wix, great news!

    I'd also appreciate this option to be a bit more configurable (CoD, wire-transfer with generated information for payment etc) but this is a great start, at least it is now somehow possible to make the order without CC - thanks

    Hi Guys Please add a South African Gateway we are believe it or not a 1st world country ;)

      With this off line payment you will be able to allow your customers to make a purchase. Also please keep your eyes open in the near future for PAYU

    Even though it doesn't effect me that much, I do feel for the guys needing payment "options".

    And seeing as I got my wish, id like to add that to the wishlist for those still waiting...

    Wix have Seriously missed the point on this topic....As retailers, we want to be able to offer our customers a choice of how they would like to pay. So For example Option 1 Paypal, Option 2 Invoice Option 3 Collect in store/Cash. this gives the consumer the option to make their own decision on how they would like to pay.

     

    What you have released is nothing but more aggravation for us the retailer having to chase up the consumer for payment.

    Nice websites but poor options on shipping and payment.

      Thanks for your feedback. This feature is also in our list and we will update as soon as it's released. 
       

      The feature we have released now makes it easier for our users to add an online store without using one of the 4 merchant accounts as a lot of our users asked the option to use the online store "offline" by contacting the costumer.

    Dear Wix, Thank you for the adding payment option. I am trying to set my online store with 2 kinds of payment method, Paypal / Cash on Delivery. But it seems doesn't work, did I miss something? Please advice me on how to set it up..

      Hi ovaleasia,
       

      Currently this option isn't possible but we are working on it :) The feature we have released now enables our users to contact their customers without using one of the four options we had until now. It also gives a bigger variety of currencies. We are of course continuing to work on the other features!

    Is that a joke? Do you really think I'm the one who needs the variety of payment options!?

    What about a CUSTOMER? It's HIM who needs to have a choice. Now I still can setup ONE only payment method an I'm the one who's forcing the customer to use this particular one.

    The point is for me to be able to setup multiple payment methods so the customer can choose the one that suits him. Will you finally get it?

      Thankkkkkk you, finally what I needed. This works perfectly in my case. Now, the only observation is that the fields of the form are in English, is there a way that you make one in spanish (and many other languages based on preferences) or make the fields editable? On another note, I see other replies to your post and do understand people need to have more than one payment option at the checkout, as eventually I might need the same.

      1. I am not sure I understand which form you are referring to. You can change the names of all fields in your shopping cart.

      2. It isn't possible to use several payment methods at the moment or to cancel an order.

      1. I am not talking about the shopping cart, I am talking about the checkout form once they click buy, the offline form that shows up where they have to input their info, that's the form I a am talking about.

      Please note that currently the Offline Payment form can only be added in English, but we are working to release this form in other languages as soon as possible.
