Offline payments enable you to accept payment options other than credit cards (i.e. cash, check, bank transfer, wire transfer, etc.). When a customer places an order from your online store, you will receive an email containing the order information and their contact details. Contact them to finalize the order and arrange the method of payment.

To select the Offline Payments method: Click the Product Gallery to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Manage Store > click the Payment & Currency tab.

Under Payment Method, select Offline Payment > fill in the relevant information > click Save.

    The contact form not able to compile what the customers has select for their check out and send to me, (provided i have select paypal as the check out gateway)

      Yes, if a customer chooses this method, he will have to describe what are the exact products he wishes to purchase and won't be able to use the cart.

    The feature of having both credit card and offline payment is important, i hope to see this features soon

      Thank you for your feedback.

      For now, you can use a workaround. You can set PayPal (or any other - WebMoney, Skrill, Authorize.Net) as your main payment method and also add a contact form to your checkout page where customers will be able to contact you, just like an Offline Payment.

    I have been trying to use the cash payment option for my store, but it is not available.  After browsing the post, I noticed that some people were successful, but I can not get it to become available at all.  I've change my eCommerce store and cart, and it's still not available there as well.  I noticed that it was stated that the option is only available if you held a premium eCommerce account, so I upgraded... still not available.  What am I doing wrong?

      Pleas note that you have posted on the HTML forum, while you have a Flash site.

      Please note that offline payment is not available on Flash sites.

    I've selected the Offline Payment Options. But there are things that I cannot costomize in my Language such as the form the customer has to fill in. When I click on "Costomize Checkout Page" I can add some things, but I can't find where to change some English words into my preffered words, like: "Name" to "Naam" and "Zippcode" to "Postcode" and we don't have "States" in our country but "Provincie". Can I change such things?

    hi, I plan for offline payment for my buyer. Will the buyer receive any invoice and email confirmation after chedkout from the cart? please advise as it seem buyer will not receive any confirmation email or invoice after they checkout.

      May I ask to which merchant account you wish to connect the shopping cart?

      Unfortunately, your customers will not recive any confirmation or invoice from your Wix site but if your shopping cart is connected to Paypal, they will recive a confirmation email from Paypal after they will complete the order.


      You can also email your customers a confirmation manually after you will recive the order.

    How to let customer place a delivery address

    Hi Expert,


    I am setting up my wix site to accept payment using paypal or credit cards.

    Right now, upon checking out it will take the customer directly to paypal page where he/she can place the credit card details for payment. But there's no option for customers, if they want the products to be delivered to a different address.

    With that, can i place a textbox on wix or something in the checkout page where customers can fill-up for the address where they want the products to be delivered before before going to paypal's credit card payment page?

      Once the user has filled in the details in PayPal there is a section for a different delivery address, also we are aware of this importance and we will be adding this feature to our check out process very very soon.

    Do you still have to pay ecommerce fee if not accepting payments online? I want the store-look, and people can click on items, and then just add them to an order form and "check out" but that just sends the order form to me so I can prepare. I only accept in person payment.
    I just want people to fill an order form but have it look like a store.

      Please note that the offline payment feature is only available if the site has an eCommerce premium plan assigned to it.

    Store Shipping and in-store pick-up.

    As a local store, If I want to allow in-store pickup of items bought online, how do I provide that option?
