Offline payments enable you to accept payment options other than credit cards (i.e. cash, check, bank transfer, wire transfer, etc.). When a customer places an order from your online store, you will receive an email containing the order information and their contact details. Contact them to finalize the order and arrange the method of payment.

To select the Offline Payments method: Click the Product Gallery to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Manage Store > click the Payment & Currency tab.

Under Payment Method, select Offline Payment > fill in the relevant information > click Save.

    Option for no shipping charge in the store

    We need an option for no shipping charge if the user would like to personally pick up the order in the the main store? How can this be done?

      Hi Igor,


      The only way to do so is selecting the Offline Payment method as the default one in your Wix Online Store.

    Hi Team,

    i want to integrate payment gateways from India..Paypal is not that active here. Can we have PayuMoney integrated with the shopping cart?

    Hello Wix team,

    I'm using the offline payment method, and I have two questions:

    1, Can I add somewhere in the checkout process shipping price? May it be different based on destination countries etc?

    2, Is there any way to send a confirmation mail to the user after he has completed the checkout?

      Q1,  Yes, you add shipping price to each country.

      You can add shipping details to your Store Manager. For more information, click here.

      Q2. Unfortunately, this option is not available yer.

      Your visitors will recive a confirmation message after they will complete the purchase from the merchant account which is connected to your Wix site.

      For example: If you connected your shoping cart to Paypal merchant account, your customers will recive a confirmation message from Paypal.

    Charging a client on Wix Online Store


    I have a site on Wix, and I would like to use the "offline payment" method at the Online Store.

    One question I didn't find an answer to is: 

    when a customer sends me his order information in "offline payment", do I have to charge him through the Wix Online Store? or can I charge him independently by sending a PayPal invoice directly to his email?

    Your offline option is terrible. The message body is limited so I am unable to give my customers my option. I would like them to do a funds transfer to my account number and I'm want to manually add in different types shipping fees since you still do not have such option available. But the space is so limited that I can hardly write anything. Is it so difficult for you to give unlimited space for me to put in my message?

      Currently you can add up to 180 characters. 


      Unfortunately, having unlimited characters isn't possible at the moment.

    I decide to choose "Offline Payment" and the page of "Payment & Currency" has been completed. After I published my website, and click "Checkout", error message "This store is temporarily unavailable. Please visit us again soon. (WOS2026)" was showed and cannot proceed to "shipping detail" that form. 

    How to solve this problem, I am so confuse that the order cannot proceed to the last step

      I can see that you have not upgraded the site under your account to the eCommerce premium plan.


      In order to operate a store live and sell products you will need to purchase a premium plan.

    How can i utilise pay pal and credit card payments together when the buyer get to the pay pal payment section?

      When you set PayPal as your payment method, your customers will be able to check out using their credit cards if they prefer it over using their PayPal account, or if they don't have a PayPal account. Please read more here.

      To do this you can leave the shipping feature empty and then there will be no charge

    Online payment

    I am looking to use my own British bank for receiving online payments for cheaper charges and access.  How do I go about it?  I will be using the Barclays ePDQ system.

      This is not what I am looking for.  When using the payment settings, it only lists Paypal, Pagseguro, Skrill, Webmoney, Offline payment, Authorize net, PayU. 

      I am looking to use Barclays ePDQ electronic system for card payments to go into my bank account.  How can I set this up?  I want payments to be automated, not manual.  I would also like to be able to set card charges as per the card used, ie: credit card 2.5%, debit card 0.75p.

      Can this be done?
