Offline payments enable you to accept payment options other than credit cards (i.e. cash, check, bank transfer, wire transfer, etc.). When a customer places an order from your online store, you will receive an email containing the order information and their contact details. Contact them to finalize the order and arrange the method of payment.

To select the Offline Payments method: Click the Product Gallery to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Manage Store > click the Payment & Currency tab.

Under Payment Method, select Offline Payment > fill in the relevant information > click Save.

For detailed information on the Offline Payment method, click here.

Thanks, Nicole,

    Hey shabba7,

    Thank you for your feedback!

You can create a customized form with Wufoo and embed it with the HTML Add-On if you do not need a checkout option.

This feature is on our development roadmap and will be built in order of priority. Priority is based on the popularity of our Wishlist items, which is full to overflowing with your good ideas and feedback!

You can keep up to date with what features are coming soon here.
You can also suggest and vote for new features on the Wix wishlist here.

    Sincerely, Leah Wix Support

    Cash on delivery

hey there! Seriously... i've been waiting for the "cash on delivery" option for more then 5 months. It'd be very simple to sort it out i guess... it'd be simple as follows:

there should be a similar button as the "checkout" (which drives the customer to the PayPal site) with the difference to forward the customer to a new wix widget with the following required boxes to fill:
    Name
    Address
    Phone number

+a button to send the order to the seller!

and in this case when the customer clicks the button it should send the content of the basket to the seller including the contact data of the customer.

Simple as this... i tell you why this is essential: here in Europe most of the companies offer the opportunity to the customers to pay they orders in cash @delivery. Ie.:one of my partners has a restaurant and he would like to deliver directly to the customers address and they would simply pay for it to the delivery guy.

So the only question is: Is it possible to send the content of the basket to an email address instead of the paypal page?

Thx for your prompt reply in advance!

    Greetz!

Maybe I can help you. Please check http://www.wix.com/shop2site/test2

It is a shopping cart that works perfectly with the new Wix HTML5 editor, and it will not ruin your 'upgrade to Wix premium' budget.

COD is one of the built-in payment options.

Unfortunately at the moment it is not possible. When we release any new features we will let our users know. Wix is working on new features all the time and they will be built according to priority.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding.

i am really upset to be honest. Since last year nothing is happening regarding COD (cash on delivery) :(

it is nothing really complicated i guess since there should be only the possibility to send the value data from the shopping cart via email to the seller's email address and there should be a text box available where the buyer can add his/her name, and the contact details.

Please consider doing something in the near future, you might loose customers.

    Sincerely,

    Szabi

    Cash on Delivery

Please add options that enable designing e-stores where customers can add items to the cart and pay cash on delivery. So you need to add templates that include customers name, address, order confirmation, etc.

    Many thanks

    @Karlo

Unfortunately the only payment methods we offer your customers to pay is with PayPal or Google Checkout. We do not support Cash on Delivery services.

If you want, you can ask your customers to contact you via email with their orders. You can then discuss further payment details with every customer individually.

    Thanks,
