Offline payments enable you to accept payment options other than credit cards (i.e. cash, check, bank transfer, wire transfer, etc.). When a customer places an order from your online store, you will receive an email containing the order information and their contact details. Contact them to finalize the order and arrange the method of payment.
 

To select the Offline Payments method: Click the Product Gallery to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Manage Store > click the Payment & Currency tab.

Under Payment Method, select Offline Payment > fill in the relevant information > click Save.

    Eprocessing Network

    I have eprocessing network.  What are my choices to link them to my account.  Is there a way to use their cart on my site?  They are not in the settings drop down and I'm completely lost on what to do.  Thanks

      Thank you for contacting us.

       

      Currently, you can use PayPal, WebMoney, Skrill, Authorize.Net or the Offline Payment option with your Online Store shopping cart.After connecting your Online Store to your merchant account, all payments made by your buyers will appear in your merchant account unless you chose the Offline Payment option.
       
      To connect your merchant account to your store, click on Payment & Currency from Manage Store and choose a payment method from the drop-down menu. It is not possible to use a third party merchant. 
       
      We have added an offline payment option which enables you to accept payment options other than credit cards (i.e. cash, check, bank transfer, wire transfer, etc.)!

    Will my client receive a email notification immediately?  And is this ONLY for this type of transaction?  I really need to be able to have an email notification come in immediately for paid transactions as well.  Is this possible?

      Hi kristirichard,

      After the user completes the order in the offline payment checkout, only you will receive an email that an order has been placed. 

      After receiving the email, you will have to contact the client in order to complete the transaction.

       

      Regarding the paid transaction system (i.e the online payment) - currently you can receive a notification through your merchant account once the customers completes the payment process in the payment gateway. This means that you will be notified by email when the payment has been accepted. 

       

      You can set your merchant account to send you these notification emails. 
      If you are using PayPal, please click here for instructions.
      If you are using Authorize.net, please click here for instructions.
      With Skrill it isn't possible to send out notifications once a purchase is made.

       

      Note: You can also see your latest orders from your site's dashboard without having to open the Editor!

       

      Also, once your customer has made a purchase and checked out through your merchant account, they will receive an email confirmation of their purchase from the merchant account.

       

      When a customer places an order from your store and completes the purchase process in your merchant account, the order should then appear in your 'Orders' tab in the 'Store Manager'.

      Currently this option isn't possible.

      You can either connect your online store to a merchant account, or set up offline payment. Merchant accounts include PayPal, WebMoney, Skrill, Authorize.net, or PagSeguro (Brazil).

    Local pick-up

    I see you have added a "Rest of World" option for a shipping rule. How long would it take to make a "Local Pick-up" option as well. it's the exact same thing except then I wouldn't have to tell my customers to select Rest of World for local pick-ups.

      Hello Yotam, 

       

      If I understand your response, the best answer to local pick-up is to select offline payment?

      Offline payment requires us to contact every single customer before finalizing payments.  We don't need every single customer to contact us before payment is final. I might be mistaken but selecting offline payment doesn't give the option for customers who do want to pay with credit cards to go ahead and select paypal for example. It's an either/ or situation. Plus a customer still has to place an order first, which means they will get the shipping option before they even send us all of their details which is what's causing confusion to the customer.

      .  The option I suggested doesn't seem difficult but maybe I'm wrong. If after the country selection the customer then has an option to select "Local" as a state, it would allow us to set up a rule that charges nothing for shipping. Right now we set up a rule for the country "Christmas Island" and a note for people to select this country if they want local pick-up. It's confusing for the customer. They just want a shipping option that says "Local", "Free" or "None".

    And do you have customers from holland who build a wix site?

      Unfortunately at the moment it is not possible to use "ideal" as a payment option.

       

      WE have plenty of users from Holland, unfortunately it is not possible technically to look for users from a specific geographic location.

      Unfortunately this isn't possible at the moment. For other countries the sign is different but it is not possible to change $ into US$

      Hi Daniel,

      Thanks for your reply !  Understood it's not possible to change $ into US$.

      But since region dollar sign is so important as a global brand, would that be possible to include this service in the very near future ?  Or once I have upgraded to a premium plan, would that be included ?  As just a $ sign will confuse people from other country this particular amount is belongs to their currency i/o US$.

    PLEASE I AM FROM NIGERIA I NEED YOUR HELP...I WANT  to integrate payment gateway inot my website and i cant do that....i want people to donate through their credit card interwsitch master card and visa.....my bank has sent the code to me so please how would i do that...i need reply immediately.

      Hi,

      Unfortunately, it is not possible to integrate external payment gateway.

      You can use Authorize.net or PayPal to accept direct credit card payments!
       

      1. Authorize.net: Accepts all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express in your Wix Store. Click here for step by step instructions.
       

      2. Paypal.com: You can set up your shopping cart to accept direct credit cards payments from users without prompting them to sign into their PayPal account. The user would still be directed to a PayPal page, however, they would not be prompted to sign in. Click here for step by step instructions.

       

       

      Currently, you can use PayPal, WebMoney, Skrill, Authorize.Net, PayU or the Offline Payment option with your Online Store shopping cart. Brazilian users can also use PagSeguro (please note that this payment method is available for Brazil only). After connecting your Online Store to your merchant account, all payments made by your buyers will appear in your merchant account unless you chose the Offline Payment option.

    If I am a ordinary buyer in the store, then I would need this things first (even before some coupon options):

    - the option of selecting payment methods (pay in advance via a invoice - sent after a finished order, or the option to pay e.g.. at least over paypal if not master card, visa, etc.)

    - the option to self pick up in the store or at least an option under shipment for Free shipment

    - the option for calculate several VATs related to the product. As known in a lot of countries for different articles there is different VAT %.!

    - the option to ship the order in a different location as the payment data

    - confirmation email of things that I have ordered over the web store

    Since this is not covered Wix looses a lot credibility in the web store market. This are the key elements to make a web store at the basic level functional.

    Please, don't provide a nice feedback that don't contain just the confirmation of the lacking features, better to invest in the quick development of the missing things.

    We are very disappointed - esp. because we took a 1 year premium plan.

      The first four points are indeed features which we do not currently have and you are welcome to add them to the online store wishlist

      The last point you mentioned, regarding a confirmation email, it will be sent from the payment gateway after the payment is made (Paypal etc.).

      How is it with the confirmation email when Offline payment method is used? Can it be enabled?

      New features are built in order of priority, priority is based on the popularity of each feature request, while we appreciate your input in our Wishlist for the online store feature requests it may take time for the features you've asked for to be implemented.

       

      Unfortunately at the moment, if you choose the Offline Payment Method you will need to send out confirmation emails manually.

    How are you tracking with this as I need to be able to give customers the simple option of a Direct Deposit along with paypal payment option

    Option for no shipping charge in the store

    We need an option for no shipping charge if the user would like to personally pick up the order in the the main store? How can this be done?

      The only way to do so is selecting the Offline Payment method as the default one in your Wix Online Store.
