If you created an Online Store before January 24th, 2013, your Shopping Cart may not support the new coupon feature. To use coupons, please delete your old shopping cart and checkout button and add the Shopping Cart again.

 

To add the Shopping Cart: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Online Store > click Shopping Cart.
 

Once your customer adds an item to the cart they will then see the option to add a coupon. They should click on Apply to activate the coupon.

    hi,

    my coupon for my site is also not working. I deleted the cache and still not working. How to fix?

      Hi,

      Please note that the starting date you've set for your coupons is February 19th - this means that the coupons will work only from tomorrow.

    Please help, my 15% off coupon for the DVD of Out of the Fire is not working. www.outofthefirefilms.com. Coupon code is NCECA. I added a new shopping cart but it did not fix the problem.

    Hi,

    I have tried to upload coupon code #LPSALE and it is not working. This is the second time this has happened.

    It says that there is an Error 1020 then it will show no amount being deducted. This is a one day sale only today and again I am loosing sales due to this error. Could someone please help asap.

      Hi,

      If you are still getting this error, please read  these instructions:
       

      This error may be due to your title, description or meta tags.

      Please make sure your site's title is less than 50 characters, and your meta tags are less than 250 characters, and then try again.
       

      Also, please make sure you are not using any special characters, symbols and punctuation marks in the titles and keywords!
       

      In the editor > Settings (on the left) > click on SEO > shorten the Page Title and remove special characters.

    Hi

     

    My coupons are not working either, I Run a gymnastics club and want the staff to get free hoodies so i put a 100% discount on the coupons but when i try it out it doesn't work it says theres no discount?

      You are only able to add 99% off  a product.

      Please add this feature to the wish list.

    My last two coupon codes are not working - can you please help?

    They are:

    Breeze

    Choose Green

    They have both going out to partners' client bases tomorrow (GMT) and they really really need to work as I CANNOT change them before they are broadcast to '000000's of potential customers

      Hi Judith,

      I apologize for the delay, please refrain from sending multiple replies to the same thread - as it sends your ticket to the end of the queue making it harder for us to answer within an acceptable time frame.

       

      I'm glad the coupons now work properly. The explaination for this behaviour is that the coupons work according to our servers' time zone settings - we're working towards improving the way it works. 

       

      Regarding the cart not clearing, yes, the cart will be saved for a few hours using cookies on your viewers computer, so that if they leave the site, they'll be able to see them again when they come back.

      1.  posting multiple replies - there wasn't a means to POST a query

      2. I followed up a ludicrous response asking which website when only one out of 2 is an online shop and therefore could be the ONLY site with coupon issues - that lost me another 12 hours - I suggest you look at resolving this anomaly. 

      3. I followed again because of how urgent the need for a solution was (which I highlighted in my first message), and because your team was so slow

      4.  Your explanation is not coherent: this issue only arose in the last week and from the other posts concerning the same problem it was widely felt.  When I set up the site in July 2013 this problem did not happen so if you are now saying it is because of server time zone settings this must be due to a recent change on your part. No?  And time zone settings?  I thought you were in Germany ???  !!

      Overall my confidence in Wix has been sorely damaged

      Hi,

      As you've mentioned the coupons are working now and there's not reason why they shouldn't, it is possible that i've misunderstood the issue you were experiencing. I was under the impression you've set coupons to start working on a certain date and time and they didn't - and only started working a few hours later, if you've experienced an issue for a while now the cause could've been different.

      Regarding my previouse comment regarding multiple replies, let me clarify if there was a doubt that I wasn't blaming you for it, simply providing you information that is meant to assure you won't have to go through such inconvenience in the future. We do the best we can to make sure you'll get a response as soon as possible, and I hope you'll have a better experience in the future to remedy your confidence in Wix ability to support your website.

    I have sold gift vouchers, which I entered into the coupon area, not realizing that It can't be the same value as the product or it won't work.  How can I rectify this problem.  I need the christmas vouchers to redeemable for a product of equal value.

      you can only do a voucher for up to 99% not 100%

    THe coupons will add but after the select check out, the coupons will not apply. THe total balance is applicable. 

    When we hit apply coupons, it applies but the balance beside it is $0.00.

    We really need to get this in order, my customers are stating false advertisement. I have had this issuer before with Wix and this should not be an issue every five seconds. 

    THis is bad for business and needs to be fixed asap!

      Please try to delete your cart and checkout and add them again to the page, it should work again.

      2. Burt's Bees Offer

      3. Attica Promo

       

      I don't see a promo code with the name luvhurraw.

    Hello, 

    Coupons are not working on my online store….. I have deleted and re set my online store and checkout button as well as deleted the coupon and re set it…. it still comes up as $0.00 and no % is deducted from the sale….. PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!!! I HAVE SET A HOLIDAY SALE LIVE AND NOW I HAVE A HEAP OF EMAILS COMING IN FROM ANGRY SHOPPERS!!!

    They have been that way for weeks. Coupon codes still say $0.00 and all the new ones we make dont work either. Please fix this problem asap.

      I've tried one one of your coupons and as you can see below, it deducts a proper amount:

       

      If you still having this issue, please provide us with a detailed outline of the steps you have taken until this point, so we may replicate the process from our end in finding a solution.

      -Where do you see it on your site, i.e. what page?
      -What component in the editor is causing the problem (i.e. text box)?

      *Please include screen shots, if possible.
