If you created an Online Store before January 24th, 2013, your Shopping Cart may not support the new coupon feature. To use coupons, please delete your old shopping cart and checkout button and add the Shopping Cart again.

 

To add the Shopping Cart: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Online Store > click Shopping Cart.
 

Once your customer adds an item to the cart they will then see the option to add a coupon. They should click on Apply to activate the coupon.

    My coupon code is not working. I added a code yesterday and I tried it today but it reflects as "0.00" after I apply the code. I deleted the code and tried another one today but I have the same problem. Please resolve it ASAP. I'm really very frustrated with the problems WIX is giving me.

      Like Jaklahni, I tried the code many times and it didn't work. It only worked several hours later. Earlier I had cleared cache and it did not resolve the issue. I seriously think there was something wrong with WIX during those hours that's why I wasn't the only WIX user that had this problem. You should be looking at whether there was any server issue on your end instead.

    i am getting soooo frustrated!! my coupon code lahni20 comes up to 0 discount, i have deleted the cart, redone it, i have deleted the code, redone it and NOTHING

      yeah now it is! it wasnt for hours and it cant be because of time code or date etc because i checked all that! it is a very big inconvenience for businesses when this occurs!!! lose of sales!

      Please specify what coupons you are referring to.

      Do you refer to coupons for your customers in the online store?

      Or do you refer to the Facebook voucher that you received with your upgrade?

       

      Promotional coupon codes must be applied to a new Facebook Ads advertiser’s account within 14 days of the creation of the account .

      You may only redeem this promotional coupon code if you currently do not have an advertiser account on Facebook.

    THIS IS THE SECOND REQUEST, THE COUPONS ARE NOT WORKING ON MY SITE, I HAVE CUSTOMERS WAITING, I HAVE READ ALL THE SUGGESTIONS, CLEARING CACHE', ADDING COUPON AGAIN AND CHECKING DATES AND I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING !!!

    THIS MORNING IT WAS NOT EVEN RECOGNISING THE COUPON, SEE NEXT

    ​AND NOW IT RECOGNIZES IT AND PUTS A ZERO VALUE TO IT !! SEE BELOW

    THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING AND I HAVE LOST 3 HOURS OR TRADING ON THIS COUPON !!!

     

    PLEASE HELP ASAP !!!!!!!

      Please note that coupon isn't set as "online". 

      Please click on the Product Gallery -> Manage Store -> Coupons, click on the Thank You coupon and set it to Online.

    Hi I have the same problem. When I made a new coupon starts from today. Then I entered it, it doesn't work. It shows $0 deductible instead giving the discount I want. How can I fix this problem?

      Thanks, it works now. But yesterday, just after i created the coupon, it didn't work. So how long will it take to work, if I want the coupon just started from the day I make?

    Hello,

     

    I just purchased a Premium Package on 5/05/2014 and the coupon section says the coupon will be ready in 11 hours and 36 minutes.  Is this right?  Also, I thought an e-mail account came with the Premium Package.

      That is correct, usually the coupons appears after 48 hours. You can find the terms of use here.

      Unfortunately the upgrade does not come with an email account. You can review all the upgrade plans and what they include here.

       

      You can now purchase personalized emails from Google Apps directly from Wix. For detailed instructions click here.

      You can also use any other Email host you like. For general information please click here.

      Thank you for your reply, I may not agree with it, but you have answered both of my questions to the point.  I'm not upset, it's just that in the past when I purchased a website, I did receive one e-mail account.  But that's okay, things change all the time, and I understand that money and time, or time and money was involved, and doing it this way may have saved you all some money, which turned out to help your customers save at the same time.

      Okay, well thank you, I do appreciate the free, user friendly website designing tools, I was amazed at the job I did, everyone seem to like the job I done with it.  

      One question.  Can you give it a try to see if you have any trouble accessing my site?  http://www.seekandfind.com  My reason for asking is, someone mentioned they could not access it.  So please check it out and let me know what happened.

      I have just viewed your site http://www.seekandfindgame.com/ which opened perfectly well which is a Wix site, however I can see that you built it using Flash, please have a look at the HTML templates which are more user friendly and can be viewed on other devices like tablets and mobile unlike flash sites

    Hi I am having the same problem

    I have cleared the cache

    I have reset the timezone

    I've cleared my cart and tried again

     

    Two of my coupons work Sweetness & Construction

    But the other two that started today don't  SKULL  and  WETBAG comes up with name of coupon but with $0.00

      It may be caused due to the fact you have chosen the coupon to start today and it was not the exact same date on your timezone.

       

      Please try changing the date and let us know if you're still unable to use this coupon.

      It did the same yesterday.  I set up the coupons to start the following day and they don't when i get up in the morning and check after publishing my site.

      I changed the time zone but it didn't give me an option of where to change the date. Could you clarify whereabouts i'd find that?

      Hi

      there seems to be a time delay i'm in brisbane australia,   i'm setting the coupons up the day before there actual start date.

      The coupons don't actual take effect until near the end of the day they are supposed to be working

      I've got one thats started today code: SAFAREE  and it is coming up with error 1020

      Hi,

      I'm starting to loose sales with annoyed customers here is this problem
      close to being fixed?

      The coupon was set up well before midnight yesterday to be functioning
      today and it's not happening.

      That is not working fine as you can clearly see it is not deducting the amount of the coupon!   Which should be $8.00

      It is working now on that particular coupon. 

      It seems coupons will start working at 6pm Brisbane time.  Instead of 12am in the morning as scheduled the day before.

      Maybe this will give you a clue on where to be looking for repairs

    Hi, we've created a 10% off coupon code, but we're unable to apply it at check out error code 1020). We've tried from several different browsers. Is this because of time-zone difference? code is aro10.
