If you created an Online Store before January 24th, 2013, your Shopping Cart may not support the new coupon feature. To use coupons, please delete your old shopping cart and checkout button and add the Shopping Cart again.

 

To add the Shopping Cart: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Online Store > click Shopping Cart.
 

Once your customer adds an item to the cart they will then see the option to add a coupon. They should click on Apply to activate the coupon.

    Hi there

    I am about to launch my website and am having the same issue as the people above. I enter the discount code and the deduction is not applied (refer to screen shot). I have cleared my cache, tried two other computers and got a friend to try and the discount was not applied.

    Is someone able to help?

      Hi Brooke,

       

      I was successfully able to apply a coupon code to your site.

      See screenshot below:

      Please make sure you insert the voucher code, not the name.

      In case the issue persists, please add 2 screenshots similarly to the ones abo

       

      Also - make sure the discount is not bigger than the amount you want to purchase.

    As with many of you, the discount is not applied when the code is entered.

      Please make sure you are adding not the name of the coupon but the coupon code.

    Hi, same issue like everyone else,

     

    i need this code for my customers today. ive added the coupon code and name. but when i go to the checkout and apply the code, no discount comes off only the coupon code is appearing. please resolve this asap as i need to provide this to my customers,

      I have not been able to recreate the issue on my end:

       

       

      Please make sure you are using the coupon code, not the coupon name.

      In case the issue reoccurs, note that while browsing on the web, your computer and browser stores various information. This build up of information can sometimes cause conflict.


      Please clear your browser's cache. You can find step by step instructions here.

    Hi I have a question  how do I add a coupon code that can only be used with a minimum purchase? I have tried to set it up where the code where you can get free shipping but can only be used for example with a $40 minimum purchase and even if there is $15 in the cart they were able to use the code can you please assist me thank you my site is www.godisjewelz.com

      At the moment it isn't possible to set a minimum price as prerequisite to use a coupon.

    coupon issues

      I have accessed your store and, as you can see in the screenshot, your coupon is working correctly.

       

      Please follow the instructions provided here. Also make sure your checkout is done with products that are more expensive than the coupon.

      If the steps in the link didn't resolve your issues, please answer the questions in the same link.

    Hi there, I find it pretty ridiculous that so many of us PAID users are receiving such service from the wix team. First things first, stop asking us to delete our cache and history and whatever else. Can you all seriously do something about it. We paid for the ecommerce function and applying a coupon should be a very basic function. Many are requesting for you to inspect their sites and all you say is that you don't see the issue appearing on your side, then really, go find another computer and try it, until you find the issue. We as users are obviously facing an issue here. Please do something about it as soon as possible. Don't get me to clear my cache, cos I've done that. I've deleted the coupons and re-entered them. Provide a solution that actually works please.

    Really needing a response soon. Looks like lots of people have the same issue as me. I have tried the codes on 3 different computers and all don't work. Attached is the screenshot. doc1.pdf

    Can this please be looked into ASAP- we are all paying to use this site so it should function in the way we expect it to.
