To add discount coupons: Click your Product Gallery to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Manage Store > select the Coupons tab.

Click Add Coupon > enter the coupon details > click Save.


Your customers will have the option to add and apply the coupon in their Shopping Cart.


Note: If you created an Online Store before January 24th, 2013, your Shopping Cart may not support the new coupon feature. To use coupons, please delete your old shopping cart and checkout button and them again.

      Unfortunately, I don't fully understand your query.

      Are you referring to more than one coupon per customers?

      We will appreciate if you could elaborate on the matter.

    hi i have created a coupon in manage store that is online but when i tested it by checking out there was no where for a customer to enter the code also i changed the checkout button so that buyers checkout out on the same window but when i tested that it came up with this 'This store is temporary unavailable. Please visit us again soon. (WOS2026)' how can i fix these problems thanks any help would be greatly appreciated

      You are receiving this error message as you are using the eCommerce features, but do not have a Premium package - you have a free account - if you want to be able to use these features, you will need to upgrade to the eCommerce package. For more information on upgrading please click here.

    Hi Wix team, I am still experiencing the issue where Error 1020 is not resolved. When adding a code to the coupons database, it does not allow the buyer to use the coupon. How do we fix this? I have tried deleting my cart and adding a new one, but still the same outcome.

      1020 usually refers to unavailable coupons in wrong starting date. Please try again tomorrow without making changes to the coupon and check if the issue persists, this seems to be a time differences bug.

    Sorry about the blank post - posting a blank is the only way I can get a cursor into the text box for some weird reason! 

    I just wanted to ask whether there is the option to add a discount coupon to certain items only? For example, I have an online store selling hampers. If I want a promotion on 'hampers for her' around mother's day, is there a way I can have a discount coupon which will only apply to those hampers under the 'for her' page? I would not want the discount to apply to the whole site. If someone bought a hamper under the 'for her' page and also bought one from the 'baby' page, I would only want the discount to apply to the item purchased under the 'for her' page and not the baby page as well.

    If this is not possible, do you know if it is something that may be available in the near future?

      Unfortunately this isn't possible at the moment.

      We document and learn from every feature request and bug brought to our attention. These objectives are immediately high priority milestones in Wix's product road map.

    I mean if you have a ecommerce site (like I do) when you're addigg products to your shop you sometimes label them "New" or "Special" or some kind of tag to indicate that therems something special about a product.  It would great if you can add a feature to the coupons that would exclude items with special labeling.  So if you have a shop with 15 items and 5 are labeled "New" the coupon would not work on those items it would only work on the other 10 items.


    also allow/add free shipping coupons.

    to add on to the list the person above suggested, the feature of excluding certain items when using a coupon would also be helpful.  For instance the coupon wouldn't work on items labeled new.

    Adding Discounting options for store

    I am looking for a way to offer discounts on multiple items in the Store - say,  offering a reduced price if 3 items and  further reduction if more than 5 items - Paypal offer some coding for their add to cart buttons to do this but I cannot see a way of using this on the online Wix store.  Can you develop this option for Wix (or have I missed it ?)

    I want to create codes that apply to "affiliates"  I just want to be able to tell which code was used so I can give commission to the code owner. Is this in any way possible with Wix?

      Each coupon code shows the number of times it was used. Furthermore, the name of the coupon should be displayed in your PayPal transaction invoice. 


      If you give each affiliate it's own code and name, you should be able to know exactly how much revenue was directed by each affiliate.

    Deleting your site's shopping cart object does not delete your products.

    Also, please note that we keep revisions of your site, in order to have it restored if you so desire.

    In the very near future, you will be able to roll back your site to an earlier revision in case you wish to.
