To add discount coupons: Click your Product Gallery to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Manage Store > select the Coupons tab.

Click Add Coupon > enter the coupon details > click Save.


Your customers will have the option to add and apply the coupon in their Shopping Cart.


Note: If you created an Online Store before January 24th, 2013, your Shopping Cart may not support the new coupon feature. To use coupons, please delete your old shopping cart and checkout button and them again.

    I noticed there is a setting for the quantity use of each coupon. Is this for all users or limiting usage to each customer?

      Hello easturban,

      Thank you for contacting Wix support.

      The quantity of the coupon is set for all users, meaning that each coupon will be available for use x times without regard to the user who is using that coupon.

    Isn't it RETARDED that you can't track who uses what coupon code? How come wix answers every question with "unfortunately this feature is unavailable, we are working on it"?

    Hi I have a customer who has a coupon code (the first) and she says that when she goes to pay with PayPal the amount changes back to the original amount. How can I help her ?

      Thank you for contacting Wix Support regarding this issue.


      I have visited your site and went through an order process, applying the indicated coupon ($1 discount). The discount was applying in the PayPal payment page.


      If you could please check with your customer at which stage of the PayPal process did the purchase amount revert back to the original amount.


      Once we receive this information we will be able to further investigate and assist you in finding a solution.

    voucher app or print button


    i am looking for a voucher app I can plug into my ecommerce site 

    which enables users to print and come to the store to redeem.

    is there such an app? or is there any feature of a button that pressing will print the page 

    (instead of the standard google chrome print menu button)

    About my products pricing


    I want to know if it is possible to make some discount on my products such as, when you purchase a product individually will be like $18. But if my customer purchase 4 at the same time can the on-line store charge my customer with discount price like just $60 for 4. Thank you

    Hi, I'm just wondering how the coupons work? I've made one up and tested it out, BUT the percentage does not show anything? so when you check out your still charged the full price? I don't know, understand it?

    I would like to know if many coupon codes can be captured and if yes, up to how many? Eg if I do a tie up with Groupon, they churn out different codes for each customer. So there could be a few hundred codes churned out. Am I able to key in few hundred codes? Thanks.

      You can have as many coupon codes added to your site as you need, there is not limit.

    Regarding payment selection

    Dear support,

    I am thinking about making a website with you at WIX. I have two questions:

    1. Payment options regarding e-commerce:

    You have paypal which is great BUT is it also possible to add credit card payments?

    2. Possible to make discount / VIP codes for customers?

    If yes, could you tell me some more about these options?

      I'm glad to hear that you're considering making a website with Wix.


      1. Wix offers the following payment options for the Online Store: PayPal, PagSeguro, Skrill, WebMoney, Authorize.net and Offline Payment. Customers can pay through Paypal with credit card. In addition, the Offline Payment option allows for a wide variety of payment options. To learn more about this option, please see this thread.


      2. You can indeed create coupon codes for your customers. Please click the link in the Best Reply above to learn how to do so.

    I love how all of the Wix Team's responses are 'Unfortunately this isn't possible at the moment.' or 'We don't have...'.

    I'd love to see improvements on any of the user suggested store options. These are basic functions I can get ANYWHERE else. Why is Wix so far behind on offering customers simple checkout solutions.

    I created a nice new website and looks like I'm headed back to Squarespace. My fault for not doing a little research on these non existing store features. 

    If you solve any of these issues, I might come back (since I've paid for a premium site). However, I'd like to see more uplifting, positive responses. Telling customers 'No' isn't doesn't make me want to stick around while your team is still in beta.

    Here's what I need:

    1) Allow me to create a coupon code for 'Buy 1 Get 1' and limit it to 1 time use per customer. 

       - Currently I need to create a code with a full discounted price of the item I am selling. Without ANY limit to the customer. I'm going to loose money if I launch this coupon.

    2) Allow me to track what coupons customers use at checkout.

       - Currently I have NO idea what coupon was used and by whom. This severely hurt and customer service, invoicing and reports I have to create and save for financial and tracking purposes.

    3) Much more...I don't have time. I need to relaunch my site elsewhere by this weekend.

    Thanks for letting me pay for a site I cannot use.

    How do I add free shipping for a certain product?


    Can you please tell me if it is possible to make a certain product free shipping? For example my gift vouchers, these are emailed to the customer so there are no shipping costs but the checkout automatically applied the flat rate shipping cost.

      Unfortunately it is not possible to add special shipping cost, if the user does not require to choose the country. 


      But you can add a coupons to your Store. For more information please check the best reply.
