You can add an Online Store to any Wix template or a site that you've built from scratch. It's free to try out in the Wix Editor, but you will need to upgrade to the eCommerce plan to start selling. For instructions on how to upgrade, click here.

 

To add an Online Store: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Online Store > click Product Gallery > click Add to Page

From the Choose Collection window, select one of the collections > click OK.

 

Note: You'll be able to add additional collections or edit your existing collections, at any time, from the Wix Store Manager.

To access the Wix Store Manager: Click the Product Gallery to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Manage Store.

 

Don't forget to add a Shopping Cart to your site!

To add a Shopping Cart: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Online Store > click Shopping Cart.

    Hi,

    I am trying to manage and upload pictures to my new online store, but all the pictures I upload I can not see any of them, it says uploading and when at 100% nothing is showing in the Media gallery.

      Please make sure that the pics you're uploading are either in jpg, .png, & .gif formats and under 10MB. For detailed instructions in case you are trying to upload a valid picture, click here.

    If I want to sell an item but have it be "local pickup only" for that particular item (such as furniture, which I cannot ship), what is the best way to do that?  Most of my items in my store will be shippable, but I cannot ship large items such as furniture.  thanks.

    CAN I ADD A COUPON JUST TO A SPECIFIC PRODUCT FOR EXAMPLE IF I WANNA GIVE MY CUSTOMERS 10% OFF ON PURSES ONLY CAN I CREATE A COUPON JUST FOR THAT

    I am unable to set-up my store. I was able to put the product in the store manager but I'm unable to visibly see the product on my page. I tried to access the tutorials but the videos are listed as private.

    Is it possible to NOT use Paypal. Can I accept Credit Cards with a different provider or manually?

      Wix eCommerce is officially integrated with PayPal. 
      If you wish to use other payment methods on your online shop,
      you can contact your clients individually outside of Wix.
      We offer "123 ContactForm" in our Wix App Market,
      which give you various forms to choose from.
      It also allows you to customize your contact form to fit your needs.

      Please note: IN order to connect your Wix shopping cart to paypal you will need  need a Premier or Business PayPal account. Don't have a PayPal account? Get one  here !

      How do I get the credit card checkout directly on my site as promised when using the advanced version of PayPal?

      Also is there a way of changing the checkout screen? As it is right now it is a partial screen on top of the main page and it looks pretty sloppy.

      About the first issue -

      Like I said, I signed up for the advanced PayPal version to get credit cards payments directly on my site. I don't see Wix mentioned in the pulldown menu of carts they support, if not then why not mention this in the previous post?

      The second issue was about the cart layout that is a partial screen on top of the current page one would be on, not on it's own page, it looks pretty messy and makes it difficult to see, any way to change this?

      Hey,

       

      It is not possible to get payments directly on the site as the site is not secure.

      For now payments can only be made when being redirected to the paypal checkout page.

       

      As for the cart page, currently you have that page as empty with only the shopping cart in it.. You can either add more content to the page or move the shopping cart to another page.

      However it is not possible to have the shopping cart pop up in whatever page you are currently on.

    All the templates for stores seemed ready made for different types of business, none of which would suit me.

    Is there a completely blank shop template?

      While we don't offer templates for every sort of business, one of the great things about Wix templates is how customizable they are. 
      Take a look at  our templates, focus on the the style and colors, and find one that you like. Simply switch out its business content with your own and you should be all set!

       

      You can also start from a blank template or a template without a store and add the store when editing.

      Hey,

       

      The checkout button is part of your Shopping cart. If you click on the shopping cart, a setting window will open. On that window you will have a preview button. If you click on it, you will see what it will look like on your live site.

    Hello,

    I recently added a new collection to my site but when I published it and went to the actual site, then click on that particular collection none of the products shows up. It brings up the cart which shows empty. How can I fix this?

      While browsing your live site I wasn't able to recreate your difficulties, which collection is not showing up?

       

      Please try some of the solutions provided  here  to make sure that your issue is not a local one.

      If the steps in the link didn't resolve your issues, please answer the questions in the same link.

       

      Please also add a  screen shot   of this issue   so that we can further investigate and help .

      1. The bundle deals button shows up when you 1st click on online shop.

      2. Then when you click on the bundle deals button it goes straight into the cart section like there are no products. (I already made a collection for this with prices)

      3. Then if you click on another button, (like Brazilian) the bundle deals button disappears. Sorry the pictures upload all mixed up. Hopefully this helps!

      Picture 1 is at the Bottom, Picture 2 is at the top and Picture 3 is in the middle

      Hi,

      While browsing your editor I was able to identify the source of your difficulties.

      1.On your online store page your Bundle deals button is set to link to your online store page, meaning that you can't access your bundle deals page on your live site.

       

      2. On all of your product pages you have not created a bundle deals button, it hasn't disappeared, it simply didn't exist.

       

      Regarding your bundles deals leading straight to your cart, I wasn't able to reproduce this issue because there was no access tothis page via your live site. In the preview mode in your editor this issue didn't occur.

       

      Please fix these issues and if the difficulties persist please notify us.
