You can add an Online Store to any Wix template or a site that you've built from scratch. It's free to try out in the Wix Editor, but you will need to upgrade to the eCommerce plan to start selling. For instructions on how to upgrade, click here.

 

To add an Online Store: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Online Store > click Product Gallery > click Add to Page

From the Choose Collection window, select one of the collections > click OK.

 

Note: You'll be able to add additional collections or edit your existing collections, at any time, from the Wix Store Manager.

To access the Wix Store Manager: Click the Product Gallery to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Manage Store.

 

Don't forget to add a Shopping Cart to your site!

To add a Shopping Cart: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Online Store > click Shopping Cart.

    Can you add an online store to an existing 'regular' site being created in Wix? Or do you have to start over and build an online store?

    I know that you guys say you only accept webmoney, skrill, and paypal but why have you given me the option of authorize.net? I prepaid for the ecommerce package for 2 years and now I have no way of using my current credit card processing company? When I select the drop down item - authorize.net is an option and then it even asks me to complete my authorize.net ID and transaction key. The instructions on the same page lead customers to activate their authorize.net account, yet WIX does not support this online payment gateway?Please help, I transferred my DNS records already and we are losing money everyday that the site CC processing is broken. I am getting an error that says "line 270 is invalid", this occurs right after I put in my address, before it even asks for my CC number. Is this not a CC processing issue?

    Is there a customer service phone number?

      Please can you contact them directly  here https://wix.mymoolah.com/

      and in the top right hand corner you will find the contact button.

    I'd like to know the best way to set up our website to work with the Merchant's warehouse for credit card processing.  We will be accepting payment for courses/workshops, and currently I've built a product list from the list builder.  Just wondering how people typically manage this set up.

      Hey,

      Please note that currently, you can use PayPal, WebMoney, or Skrill with your Online Store shopping cart. To connect your merchant account to your store, click on Payment & Currency from Manage Store and choose a payment method from the drop-down menu. It is not possible to use a third party merchant.

      For information about connecting your Online Store to Skrill, click here.
       
      If you choose Skrill as your merchant, your customers can purchase with a credit card without having a Skrill account. 
       
      Your customers can also purchase with a credit card without having a PayPal account. For instructions on how to set this up with PayPal, click here
       
      Please also note that the products list offered through the list builder isn't an online store, meaning you will not have a shopping cart attached to it.
      If you wish to build an online store with your Wix site please follow the instructions in best reply above. Note that this is a Premium eCommerce package feature.       Let me make sure I am clear on what you've just told me.

      1. I need to upgrade to the ecommerce package, not a problem - just want to make sure Wix is compatible with the Merchant Warehouse.  I know nothing about WebMoney and Skrill, and that is irrelevant to me at the moment....so - are we ok connecting to the Merchant Warehouse for our credit card purchases?  Yes or no is all I need to hear.

      2. Can you please tell me what steps/priorities I need to take to move away from GoDaddy - we purchased our domain name from them.  I sent another email to Wix support early today and never heard back,  and I'm anxious to move from our old website to our new Wix website.   How do we find out if the domain name is available with Wix, etc.

      Answers to these two questions will be greatly appreciated.   thanks so much!

      I should probably add one more comment to what I said above, if we don't use the online store shopping cart and just add a link from a listed item to the third party vendor will that work?

      The only payments mathods available for WIX's Online Store are PayPalWebMoney, or Skrill. Meaning, Merchant Warehouse not an option.

    I want to upgrade do you have any coupon codes because $199 is expensive i recently joined with webs and wasted my money I been with them two months and ready to switch they don't give you enough options

      I checked your Wix account and I saw you upgraded your site.

      Click here for detailed instructions about how to claim your Wix domain. When claiming your free Wix domain, simply follow the steps in this link to purchase a domain. In the purchase screen, you will see an option that lets you choose your free domain gift. You will see the discount applied to your total before you complete your purchase.

    Hi there,

    Two questions:

    Question 1
    Is the Wix Online Store app (available within the Editor > App Market, priced at USD $10/mth) the same app that is already installed when I create a new Wix store?

    Question 2
    Is it possible to purchase the 'Connect Domain' or 'Combo' Premium plan and then buy the Wix Online Store app or another eCommerce app separately? Or do I have to be on the 'ECommerce' premium plan to be able to use the Wix Online Store app?

      1. If you are referring to the Wix online store - eCommerce from the online store - it is the same app from the editor. 
      You can also find different store apps in the app market.

      2. Please note - The Wix online store is a Premium eCommerce package feature. You can try it out for free in the Wix Editor, but to start selling you'll need to upgrade to the Wix eCommerce package. For upgrading instructions, click here.
       

      You can upgrade your Premium site to a higher-priced package at anytime. Any unused credit will be applied to your new upgrade.

    I could not find my problem in the blog so here is my question :

    When I add a product gallery all I get is a series of short lines instead of rectangular pictures appearing.

    Can somebody help me please?

      Currently, you can use PayPal, WebMoney, or Skrill with your Online Store shopping cart. Brazilian users can also use PagSeguro (please note that this payment method is available for Brazil only). To connect your merchant account to your store, click on Payment & Currency from Manage Store and choose a payment method from the drop-down menu. It is not possible to use a third party merchant.

    Hi

    I am having problems using the paypal account that i have set up to the website.  When people place items in thier baskets, they then go to pay, and the amount is empty and it just has £0.00 where it should have the orser total.  How do i go about changing this?

    Hi there,

    This might seem a silly question but do I need to pay extra for the Wix Online Store after purchasing the e-Commence package? I'm using the free version and having a play with the online store at the moment. When I click on the app's "Features and Pricing", it says $10USD/month. Does this mean I need to pay $10USD extra per month if I wish to upgrade to the e-Commence package?

      Hi,

      Once you upgrade your site to the Ecommerce premium package, there is no extra fee for using the ecommerce features.

      You can find details about promotions here.

      After you purchase your Wix premium yearly package ("Combo", "Unlimited" or "eCommerce") , you will be able to find your voucher in My Account > Manage Premium > Vouchers.

      (Your free domain voucher will appear as soon as you purchase an eligible package. Please note that your Facebook Ads and Google Adwords vouchers will only appear in the Vouchers tab after 48 hours.)

    I am setting up an online store for wines. However I have to prevent people in certain states from being able to order for shipment. Is there a way to do that? Also is there a way to only charge sales tax in one state and not others?

      You can add shipping and tax rules to your store by following the steps here.

       

      If you have set up shipping and tax options on your merchant account, you will need to remove those settings before using the Store Manager shipping and tax settings.

      Hi,

      Unfortunately, it is not possible to block the sales for pacific states but you can control to what destination add the shipping.

      Unless I am wrong the only shipping details you can set are rates. Or are you saying that if a state is not checked it means there is no way for the transaction to take place to that state?

      If a state is not checked that means that it will not appear in the shipping options, therefore, while a person can physically make an order from that state, they cannot set shipping to it.

      We cannot prevent users by geographical location from entering your site and making a purchase.
