You can add an Online Store to any Wix template or a site that you've built from scratch. It's free to try out in the Wix Editor, but you will need to upgrade to the eCommerce plan to start selling. For instructions on how to upgrade, click here.

To add an Online Store: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Online Store > click Product Gallery > click Add to Page

From the Choose Collection window, select one of the collections > click OK.

Note: You'll be able to add additional collections or edit your existing collections, at any time, from the Wix Store Manager.

To access the Wix Store Manager: Click the Product Gallery to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Manage Store.

Don't forget to add a Shopping Cart to your site!

To add a Shopping Cart: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Online Store > click Shopping Cart.

To receive a coupon for the eCommerce yearly plan, click here.

I tried to set up the Ecwid online store and it opened it in a different tab. I already have a 'shop' tab open with paypal buttons so I don't want to lost that link by making a new page for the new online shop. I can't seem to copy and paste the online store to my existing shop page. Is there a way I can either drag the Ecwid app to my existing shop page or make it so that the new shop page has the same link as my old one so it's redirected?

As I understand, the issue has been fixed. Please note that you have the ecwid app in the Wix App Market, which you can link to your existing ecwid account with no need to create an HTML iFrame.

Please let us know should you need further help.

As you have chosen PayPal a your method of payment, then once your customer gets to paypal they will be given an option for a different postal address which you will be sent with the order information.

Im having the same problem. Everything on mine says "completed" but still does not show up in my sales.

Please clarify as to what you're referring to as "the same problem". Are you unable to see completed orders in your 'Orders' tab? Or, are you unable to view orders altogether?

Please include all possibly relevant information for us to further investigate the issue.

I really need to know how to add the form for the customer's delivery and billing address in the cart app!!!

It is kinda strange that this uttermost important function is so difficult to find!

Even with the log in button… the site does not ask for a complete address in order to complete the registration!

So how can I know the adderss where to send the goods to when I sell?

Will it appear in the "manage store" window then?

    Please let me know asap.

    Thank you.

The user fills in the shipping address through the payment gateway (Paypal/Authorize) and and not through the Wix store page.

      Best regards

I know that the ways to get the payment of my online shopping wix store are: PayPal, WebMoney, Skrill, or Authorize.Net

Can users pay with regular credit card information?

Meaning that the users will enter their credit card information directly to my site form, and not by a 3rd party site like papypal...

    Something like

    Holder name:___________

    Credit number:___________

    Validation date:__________

Unfortunately paying directly with a credit card is not available at the moment.

Please read about the different payment option right here.

For instructions on how to set it up, click here.

Feel free to add direct credit card payment as a feature request to our Wish List by posting here.

We document and learn from every feature request brought to our attention. These objectives are immediately high priority milestones in Wix's product road map.

How do I make separate shop categories ?

For example - shoes - hats - gloves - jackets

    • dinamiso Wix Team

Replied by dinamiso March 26, 2014

      1. Please create a separated collection for each category within  the product manager.

      2. Add additional pages for each category.

      For example:

      page ' shoes ' .

      page 'hats'

      page ' gloves '

      page ' jackets '

      3. In each page, please add a product galley and select a collection which is relevance to the page category.

To add a product gallery, go to the first page (for example: shoes page) click on Add -> Online store -> product gallery-> from the collection list choose the shoes collection.

Please follow the same steps for all other pages.

      4. You can create a drop down menu and add all the pages for each category under a main tab.

To add a drop down menu, please follow the instructions here .

      Thank you,

I am being asked from my Merchant Services Provider who does Wix use for a Shopping Cart? I can't find that answer.

    • gills2 Wix Team

      Replied by gills2 March 7, 2014

      Hey  cassbutler,

Currently, you can use PayPal, WebMoney, Skrill, or Authorize.Net with your Online Store shopping cart. After connecting your Online Store to your merchant account, all payments made by your buyers will appear in your merchant account.
To connect your merchant account to your store, click on Payment & Currency from Manage Store and choose a payment method from the drop-down menu. It is not possible to use a third party merchant.
For information about connecting your Online Store to PayPal, click here.
For information about connecting your Online Store to WebMoney, click here.
For information about connecting your Online Store to Skrill, click here.
For information about connecting your Online Store to Authorize.Net, click here.
If you would like to see other payment gateways in the Wix Online Store, feel free to add your request to our Wishlist by posting in this thread.
