To delete a site: Sign in to your Wix account > click My Sites > next to the relevant site, click Manage Site > on the right, under Handy Shortcuts, click Show More > click Delete Site.

 

Note: Deleting a site does not cancel your premium plan or delete your account.

      Building a site with Wix is completely free, as well as publishing it - we will not charge you.

       

      We do offer a number of premium plans which give our users access to additional features such as connecting a domain name, removing Wix ads and additional storage and bandwidth. To learn more about our available premium plans, click here.

       

      You are under no obligation to upgrade your site to a premium plan. You are welcome to continue using the free version without any additional upgrades.

    Hi my name is Erin and I can't access my old email to my old account I made with you guys. Can you please help me? I am just trying to delete that account entirely, because I am active on this one. Thank you for your time!

      Thank you for contacting Wix support.

       

      Could you please provide us with the email and username of the account you wish to delete? 

       

      If there was a premium plan connected to the account, please also provide us with the following details so we may assist you further:

      -Full name of the card holder

      -Billing address

      -Last 4 digits of the credit card used to pay for the premium package.

      You may also provide us with an invoice to verify that you are the owner of this account, or contact your bank for the relevant billing details.

    Hi, i would love for someone to be able to give some advice - I have two wix accounts and one i would like to deactivate. When attempting this a pop up appears stating that I'm unable to cancel the site as its a premium site and gives further directions over cancelling however whenever i've tried this there is no delete account option - Im in desperate need to cancel this as it looks highly un proffessional that the site is still active. Thank you for anyone that can give support. Sarah.

      Hey Sarah,

       

      If you have purchased a Premium plan and wish to cancel your Wix account, please first make sure to cancel your Premium plan. Once you have done so, please add your details in this link.
      To cancel your Premium plan, go to Subscriptions > Premium Plans > Billing & PaymentsManage > click Cancel payments next to Next payment.

    Hi, I have a site that I would like to turn it off to viewers but I still want to keep it for later.

    Is there a function to temporarily making it unavailable?

      To temporarily remove your site from the web, you can place a notification on your home page and say it is under construction, and hide the menu from that page.

      This will prevent visitors from navigating through the site.

    I want to update my old site to the newer html version instead of the flash. Can I do that and still keep my premium package?

      Hi,

       

      Unfortunately you can not convert your flash site to an HTML site. However You can create an HTML site from one of our many great templates here.

       

      If you can create the HTML site under the same account as the flash site, you will be able to transfer the premium plan from your flash site to your HTML site.

      I would recommend using the HTML5 Editor to create your new site, however, you will need to recreate it.


      You can create your HTML site now by clicking 'Templates' and choosing an HTML template. For more information on how to get started, click here.

       

      The other option is to edit the current site you have and re-design it.

    This sequence didn't work for me. I canceled my account online months ago but was billed $99 anyway for the renewal. I am trying to request a refund. It is impossible to contact customer service. Someone please contact me lpriest28@gmail.com thx
