Currently, it is not possible to transfer a premium plan from one Wix account to another. Instead, you will need to cancel your current premium plan and repurchase it in your new account.

Note: It is possible to transfer a site and a domain (purchased from Wix) from one account to another. Click here to learn about transferring a site or click here to learn about transferring a domain.

As many other users, I need to transfer a premium account to a new account. I understand this is not possible at the moment.

Now, if I cancel my current premium account to transfer it having 8 months left, will I get a refund for the remaining subscription time?

    Thank you

I am currently working on a new template for my Website and I'd like to transfer the premium from my currently active site to my new template (I plan to shut down the current one and make the new template my active one)

is there any way that I am able to do this? there doesn't seem to be any existing forum regarding this situation that I've been able to find.

First transfer your premium plan to your new site.

Then, assign your domain to this site.

To assign a domain: Sign in to your Wix account > from the menu at the top, hover over Subscriptions > click Domains > next to the relevant domain, click Manage.

Under Domain Connects To, click Change > select a site > click Save.

I am a web developer, am I allowed to buy multiple premium plans just using my single account? But still I am going to name each site to my specific clients, but still everything is on my control, it’s only about the website with their own write-ups but I’m still on the management. Although the email addresses ofcoarse I have to turn over them, but I don’t want my clients to see any administration system. Is this all possible? Please respond to this particular matters. I'll try to answer your questions in the order you asked:

      4. I'm not sure I understand the question, can you please try to rephrase it?

      5. Yes it is possible to purchase as many premium plans as you want with a single account. Please note that in order to let someone else the possibility to edit  the site or view the account you will need to give them your credentials, in this case they could also edit and see any other site in your account.

Hi Wix Team, I'd like to ask you a question that is really urgent and important for my client :)

My Client want me to make an ecommerce website for her and using an ecommerce plan (a yearly plan). I think that I would make a new account for her and making an ecommerce website, and then I'll use my credit card to make her site into premium site. She will choose a yearly plan and Wix will charge me for 1 year from my credit card, right? I just will maintenance her site only for 3 months, and after that she will do it by herself. Can I take my information billing after her site being a premium? so the second year, wix wont charge my credit card because I have taken it in the third mont. Is it possible?

    thank you :)

If you will purchase the premium plan using your credit card the entire amount will be deducted from it. and when you choose to let her manage the site you will not be able to transfer the premium plan from your account to her's.

What I suggest you do in this case is opening an account for your client, creating the site in this account and purchase the plan using her credit card.

Then, once the site is complete and live, you can give her the credentials to access that account so she can manage it from there.

      I hope this helps,

Let us know if you have anymore questions.

All the best, Dean - Wix Team

      thx for your reply,

but well, the reason that I will use my credit card because she doesnt have any credit card. I think so hard to make her ecommerce website and use my credit card for yearly plan, but after the contract ends ( 3 months), my credit card wont be deducted for another year. But I am totally confused how to solve it :)

If you upgrade and use your own credit card keep the account information to yourself because your account will include your credit card information and it is wise not to share it. After 3 months you can cancel the renewal of the domain subscription and remove the details. At this point you can transfer the site to your client's own user account for them to administer form this point and on.

      Hey ct4708,

To move your premium status to another Wix site, simply click on Subscriptions > Premium Plans > Click on Transfer under Wix Site > choose the site you want the premium status to be transferred to.

Please note that you will have to attach your domain to your updated site. You can do it via the Domain Manager when clicking on Subscriptions > Domains -> Click Manage next to your domain -> Click Change next to "Wix Site" and choose the relevant site.

You can find more information about premium plans here.
You can find a video tutorial about managing your premium account here.

    Upgrades while transferring site...

I upgraded a site on my main account, but then I transferred it to a new account (within the same hour) that I created because there will be multiple people working on it. However, it is not showing up with the upgrade on the new site. How do I fix this?

Unfortunately you can't transfer Premium plan from one account to another. You need to cancel Premium plan on the previous account and simply re-purchase it in the new one.

    Transfer upgrade to different user

Im having some problems understanding how to transfer my upgrade to another account.
I tried looking into packages and then transfer, but I get the message that I need at least two to be able to transfer it? The account that I want to transfer it to is connected to another email and username, so it docent show up under packages. So how do I go about getting the upgrade that I have connected to this user I'm on now, to the other one?

The instructions that you were following explained how to transfer a premium plan from one site to another. I'm afraid that it is not possible to transfer a premium plan to another account.

I have merged your post to the thread on this topic. Please see the Best Reply above for further information.

Hi, I transfered a site herevleet.org.il to other user.

This is premium account, linked to domain www.herevleet.org.il.

The site was transffered to the other user, but on his account it shows as regular account (not premium, not linked to the specific domain).

    my questions are as following:

    1. can the second user (email: herevleet@gmail.com) update the site linked to domain www.herevleet.org.il  ?

    2. Can I transfer the premium package to the second user (email: herevleet@gmail.com)  ?

    3. What does site transfer mean - now two users can update the web site ?

    4. There is a text box on the mobile site version that we do not want to show.

We do not see it on editor so we can not delete or hide it.

I am not HTML pro so I do not how to hide something that I can not see on the editor.

Please help hide the following text box :

    Site: www.herevleet.org.il. -for mobile phones-

    Page: local business

text box to hide on mobile version:

תיקון מכוניות רשוי, בדיקות קניה, דיאגנוזה כללית. מורשה משרד התחבורה. 45 שנה

    Thanks much
